Message from my doctor:

Hi Mr. Alexander,

Thank you for giving gabapentin a try. Please let me know if you develop sleepwalking again with this medication so we can stop it. Hopefully, the lower dose will prevent this from happening.

In regards to the pain medication they gave you in the ER, hydrocodone/acetaminophen is an opioid and generally not prescribed long term for pain management. We DO NOT prescribe this med for restless leg syndrome. If you pain persists, please let us know and we will try other treatment to manage your pain. We can try therapy and other nonopioid medications for pain.

Does it seem that she is still a little clueless?

Yep. But she has given you an opening. Tell her you are still sleep walking even if you aren't and you need pregabalin.
