Just needing a vent
I am feeling really fed up right now. I got diagnosed about 2 weeks ago with pots and then 2 days later was in hospital with kidney stones. Got released just on time to make a family trip to London so had lots of painkillers to get through it but still managed to enjoy it. I came home and went to gp

Anterior and Posterior surgery all done
Well I'm on week 3 post Op. All good. Operation went well. Ended up in theatre for 2 hours to repair bladder and bowel prolapse. I
opted not to have pelvic floor therapy or pessaries but to go straight to surgery. Best choice ever. In and out. Catheter in for one night and packing. Removed next morning

Could I have endometriosis?
Hello, I am really struggling with symptoms at the moment and I still have no answers so would love some input from others who know what this is like. I have always had heavy painful periods since day 1, along with bowel and stomach issues. I remember being at school and being sent home because I was

Don't believe all my pain is due to pain syndrome
I have been diagnosed with a chronic widespread pain disorder. I am ok with working on the assumption that the pains in my body and back and tingles in my hands, feet and lower back are caused by this. I am not convinced at all that its the cause of the pain in my left leg. The pain there has been

Hi all, I was diagnosed with GCA in 2018. With the help and support of this group I came through some tough times, and will always be grateful for that. After a very gradual taper, I have now completed 13 months without prednisolone, and, fingers crossed, the GCA is still quiet. I am still having sub-cutaneous

Last Friday i| started having a very low pulse which would suddenly rise quickly then drop again. It went down to 42 then up to 102 instantly with very erratic heart beats. I won't go into the 5 hour delay for an ambulance or the 7 hour wait in A&E but I ended up being admitted for 4 days; diagnosed

Hospital update and thanks.
Thank you everyone for all the messages. I was so exhausted last night when i Got home I just crashed. I don't know if it was reaction to the weekend or the new tablets. First my dog was fine. She'd only just had surgery with lost of instructions on painkillers, feeding and exercise so I was worried

Pain Killers - Fibromyalgia
Good Morning, I am newly diagnosed after suffering with widespread pain and brainfrog since 1997. I have been given Duloxetine to take, started at 60mg, then 90mg then given 90mg twice a day although i am only taking the 90mg once a day. My question is how do I get my GP to assist me with pain medication

Hi all, I’m at the point where I can’t walk without crutches, the pain down my legs and ankles is unbelievable. The throbbing in my sides feels like my ovary is trying to escape my body. I can’t stand straight or stay upright for more than a few minutes. I can’t concentrate on my job. Painkillers aren

Bed Ridden but not PMR
As some are aware I've been plaged with back and stomach spasms for weeks...months. Last Rheumatologist visit she advised "I think it's your muscles". Brilliant! Rx was 1000 mg. Acetaminophen. Last trip to ER last week, doc gave me exercise sheets. This has become increasingly worse on the daily. Thursday

Well... the dearth of Critters on my last walk was more than made up for yesterday! Another absolutely glorious day, and a short but sweet run was undertaken before the heat set in. Breakfast eaten... an al fresco picnic packed for the back pack... ice pack included... Check list for Mr OF... walking

Variable Asthma and pain medication.
Good day to everyone, I hope you are all taking good care, especially with the warm weather! I would like to ask people from the community about pain medication and Asthma. I have a variable asthma of 5%, diagnosed at the same time as copd. 6 weeks ago I ended up in A&E with severe pain in my leg
