Diazepam- what dosage to take?
After having a bad experience I really struggle to have any type of internal examination, I need to have a smear on Tuesday and the doctor has given me some 5mg diazepam tablets - has anyone taken diazepam for this type of thing and what dosage did you take and how effective was it? I've already had

Does time ever heal ? I have a herniated disc l5 s1 the pain is driving me nuts -- 1 year in
I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall, at the very beginning my pain presented in my right hip. The doctor was good at the time, he thought it was bursitis and treated with injections etc a long story short they didn't work but the pain was bearable. I am a nurse and was working 50 plus

I'm on holiday and tonight took my little lad to the arcade on site which I've done every night but for some reason my anxiety went crazy and I had to lie and say my ibs was starting to get back to the

Okay so today I ended up in A&E. Ugh. I've had breathing issues for over 2 weeks now and it's just getting worse. Tight chest and can't get a full breath. I can't figure out if it's an allergy to something (although I have no history of asthma) or a deficiency. Anyway! They told me it's just anxiety

My Myelopathy: A long journey…destination unknown
Research is increasingly demonstrating the importance of early diagnosis, and treatment as appropriate, of CSM and CDM. I am sharing my journey to show how easy it is to ignore early symptoms and how difficult it can also be for doctors and other clinicians to suspect this condition as a diagnosis.

Hi..I have had a chronic cough for several months and my Dr put it down to allergies and GERD but sent me for an x-ray to be sure. The x-ray has shown a small ill defined area of opacity in the lower right lung. I'm terrified...I have only just turned 40 and have 3 children - my anxiety is so bad that

What's the point
I've had depression for 10 years and it only gets worse, I've been put on different meds and I have to take diazepam when I need it. The police want to take me to hospital every time I threaten suicide but it doesn't help. The GPs don't care and I'm not receiving any support like councelling or anything

Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself....
Hello Everyone. My Mum is 80, was diagnosed with COPD four or so years ago after increasing respiratory problems. At that time she lived in London. After a couple of hospital admissions for falls she was given an oxygen concentrator at home and some meds and pretty much left to it. I should add at this

My anxiety is intolerable.
I have had anxiety for 20 years, for the past 2 years I have had bouts of extreme anxiety that last for months, I'va had two lots of CBT and am due to start another in 3 months, that's the waiting list time. I have been on diazepam for 20 years, obviously it doesn't help much anymore but my gp said

No future
I am 65 and trying to get over break-up after 15 years. I am taking Mirtazapine 45mg and have been given diazepam to use as and when I need them. I have had depression on and off for years but now it is worse than ever. Every day is a struggle, the hurt I feel inside is unbearable and just cry, so

antidepressant choices?
Hi Ive recently been given the diagnosis of depression gain, along with anxiety. I'm getting on ok with a short dose of diazepam to ease panic attacks. /unfortunately it's not helping with my chronic insomnia....I think that's because I have sleep apnea and keep waking up every two hours. My question

Fatigue and pneumonia
10 years ago I contracted pneumonia and was ill for months and never really recovered. After 5 years of repeated visits to GP it was discovered that I had ET JAK 2,was given Hydroxy and sent home. Felt really unwell and fatigued and had repeated chest infections. My haemotologist merely said she'd

Dizziness from Prednisone & Rituxan infusions....
After being diagnosed in March '17 with acquired autoimmune hemolytic anemia I've had a series of 7 IV infusions of Rituxan (2 'wimpy' doses & 5 high powered doses). I was also put on Prednisone, starting at 60 mg. & now 6-28-17 am down to 10 mg daily. My major problem is terrible dizziness and lightheadedness
