Association of thyroid function with white coat hypertension and sustained hypertension
Yet another paper that associates thyroid issues with the heart. It isn't that long ago that 'white coat hypertension' was coined! And here we are with a possible contributory factor. [i] J Clin Hypertens (Greenwich). 2019 Apr 11. doi: 10.1111/jch.13536. [Epub ahead of print]

Blood Clot?
I have recently really been querying my dysautonomia diagnosis, personally feel as though I may have been misdiagnosed with just “
orthostatic
intolerance”. People with orthostatc
hypotension
that I have spoken to say they do not have any of the symptoms I experience.

Does Losartan cause muscle and joint pain?
I was given Losartan 50 MG by my cardiologist and it did not seem to do anything so she increased it to 100 MG. She said she would rather max out the Losartan before adding another medication. The 100 MG did not seem to do much either as my BP was a little higher than I would like. I went back to her

It's giving me
orthostatic
hypotension
. I have NIDD, Hgb A1c is 8. And I have a history of high blood pressure! I have first and foremost decided to go to a university medical teaching hospital, so I can get my health care centralized. Meanwhile I wait for my appointments in January.

Help with timing of medication
Hi I always take my Levothyroxine, T3 and Bendroflumethiazide at the same time in the morning, between half an hour and an hour before a cup of tea. My question is should I continue to do this (have done this for years) or should I take the Bendroflumethiazide away from the Levo and T3 and if so what

Kidney biopsy AV Fistula
So after I got my kidney biopsy on Monday I ended up with a AV fistula. They went in the groin and put a coil in to just stop the blood flow between the vein and artery. I think it is called a renal embolization. Has anyone else been through this ? How was your pain after? I am on day 4 and I am feeling
