Has anyone with restless legs been able to tolerate Metoclopramide or are you guaranteed to get them.

Reglan blocks dopamine receptors, so it is a bad idea for RLS sufferers.

Try Zofran. It’s ok for people with RLS.

Metoclopromide is an antivomitting medication that will empty the stomach.I am on dialysis and sometimes I take an antiemetic , Cyclizine , which is of the same family as Metoclopromide. As I take it my rls starts within 10 mins guaranteed.I have found that putting a tight sock helps.Sometimes with rls we can get into a cycle of massaging and stretching the leg that makes the symptoms worse. We can also get into a psychological cycle of obsessional concentration on rls.Sometimes taking your mind off the rls helps. Recently I was having rls and a friend came to talk to me and after the conversation I realised that the rls was gone for having taking my mind off it.
