Adequate Pain Relief! What a difference!!!!!!!!!!
I developed an allergy to my Butrans patches, and taking more and more
Oramorph
+ Codeine, with zero benefit. Desperation set in, along with severe mood swings, fatigue, rubbish quality of life. My gp then decided to try Fentanyl patches instead. EUREKA! I feel like a new woman.

I'm lying in bed with 3 hot water bottles and I've taken all my meds including
oramorph
cuz its that dreaded time of the month again but I still can't get comfy.

Any women noticed a link between the contraceptive pill and bad episodes of IBS?
Even now am still in pain and needing to take more
Oramorph
. My GP says its just coincidence but I think it's too big a coincidence to be ignored. Anyone else noticed anything similar?

I know it's my own fault but....
I am in the process of moving house and although I have had pain in my joints even after taking
Oramorph
, I have been packing up boxes as we move next week.

How severe is your bone pain in E T & is this made worse or better with treatment ?
When on treatment my doc recommended codeine 30/500 without any relief, I then progressed to slow release morphine capsules zomorph 20mg then 30mg then 40mg etc until finally being on 100 mg twice a day +
oramorph
every hour through the night as required!

Hello 2AM, we really must stop meeting like this !
Despite me trying to poison it with the prescribed Gabapentin, Tramadol, Amitryptiline, diclofenac,
oramorph
and electrocuting it to within an inch of my sanity, weary corpse is winning and keeping me awake. Thank you Blog for letting me have a little rant in the vain attempt to save my sanity.

Lap done, next steps...
The pain wasn't too bad and I've only had paracetamol and codeine regularly since, although there was tramadol and
oramorph
on standby if required.

What medication works for your pain?
He has now been in hospital for another week and is still taking
oramorph
. The doctor has said that as soon as he is able to cope without
oramorph
he can go home. He has been on a number of tablets but no success yet. Just interested to know what has worked for others out there.
