Oramorph

does anyone use this for breathlessness? It does say in the leaflet not to use if you have copd or if you have a breathless ness problem and yet I’m reading you can! Confused!!

I was given a prescription for Oramorph to help with breathlessness but I'm a bit anxious about side effects. The leaflet says it could lower heart rate.... sometimes I get a notification on my Fitbit....heart rate 44 or so ...last night at one point it was 36.

hi I have been suffering with Fibromyalgia for over 15 years and currently taking Zomorph and Oramorph. Does anyone know if a GP can prescribe Fentanyl patches? Does anyone have experience of using them?

I’ve now been told not to take Oramorph and cut Zomorph to 1 per day. As a result of all this I’ve suffered terrible constipation for years.

In addition to my recent post am I likely to have withdrawal symptoms from stopping the daily Oramorph but continuing with Zomorph. Thank for any advice. Kind regards David’s

I have now come home from with oramorph which I won’t tell you my thoughts & I don’t take unless I really need to . I would really appreciate other people thoughts. Thank you

The gave oxpro 12 hour tablets of morphine in them and oramorph as well but don't help .I was wondering if anyone one going same thing it would be so nice to chat to someone please 🙏

Recently the GP put me on Oramorph. I was still in a lot of pain so they said I should have Zomorph a slow release morphine medication. They never mentioned for me to stop taking Oramorph..

It’s got steadily worse to the point my go needed to inject me yesterday and has me on oramorph 2mg /ml x 20 per day and diazepam 10 msg and daily injections of enantyum .

I’m now almost 4 months post op and my pain has been getting worse for the past few weeks, to the point I’ve had to start taking oramorph again. The pain seems to be more severe than pre op, affecting my legs even more now. Any tips for pain management or ideas on why?

My last visit he said that the diagnosis is now Yellow nail syndrome with interstitial oedema and mild bronchiectasis and he prescribed Oramorph for the cough. However this makes me feel really sick. Sputum cultures show Haemophilus-sometimes.

Went to bed at 11 last night and I’ve had no sleep at all,I take oramorph and loads of other medication and last night the pain got so bad I took another 5 ml of oramorph,it made no difference. It started in my left leg then at about 4am it started in my right leg,by 6 it was in both.

I was limping Saturday and yesterday and needed oramorph last night in bed. I'm so frustrated this is taking so long to recover. This weekend I've definitely done too much, but I'm supposed to be back to work next week! I've made an appointment with my GP to get signed off for longer.

Right now, I’m on oramorph every 4 hours, but it only helps for about 30 minutes. Codeine doesn’t work and causes constipation, and I’m allergic to paracetamol (it gives me hives). Naproxen helps a bit (40-50%), and I take it at home with omeprazole.

I am taking gabapentin, codeine, ibuprofen, paracetamol. and oramorph when i need it. I took 10ml tonight, the paramedics told me to take more. I am at a complete loss!!

my wife suffers from this awful disease and gets really painful spasms and pain in her legs, usually the left leg and then sometimes starts in the right leg co caradopa and baclofen usually stop this after about 30 minutes but now am having to use Oramorph to ease the pain, was wondering if any one

I was hoping to get somewhere and finally get help for this but I'm feeling so stuck, relying on oramorph and pregabalin and trying to maintain a full time job. Does anyone have any experience with negative bloods but a diagnosis of ankylosing Spondylitis? Thank you for reading ❤️
