Oramorph

In addition to my recent post am I likely to have withdrawal symptoms from stopping the daily Oramorph but continuing with Zomorph. Thank for any advice. Kind regards David’s

Recently the GP put me on Oramorph. I was still in a lot of pain so they said I should have Zomorph a slow release morphine medication. They never mentioned for me to stop taking Oramorph..

Went to bed at 11 last night and I’ve had no sleep at all,I take oramorph and loads of other medication and last night the pain got so bad I took another 5 ml of oramorph,it made no difference. It started in my left leg then at about 4am it started in my right leg,by 6 it was in both.

I’m now almost 4 months post op and my pain has been getting worse for the past few weeks, to the point I’ve had to start taking oramorph again. The pain seems to be more severe than pre op, affecting my legs even more now. Any tips for pain management or ideas on why?

my wife suffers from this awful disease and gets really painful spasms and pain in her legs, usually the left leg and then sometimes starts in the right leg co caradopa and baclofen usually stop this after about 30 minutes but now am having to use Oramorph to ease the pain, was wondering if any one

The Home Care Hospice Nurse advised Buec 5 patches + Oramorph liquid to take if he has spike through pain and requested that off the GP.

Does anybody know whether it's safe for me to take 2 ml Oramorph at 1.30 p.m. ? I am trying to take ½ Buprenorphine at 3 p.m. when my RLS starts, then ½ at 9 p.m. , then ½ at 3 a.m. when I always wake up !

They have also put me on oramorph, the pain is constant and never goes away, I am so stiff and sore in the morning it takes over an hour to move, I can't walk very far without being in severe pain.

I was hoping to get somewhere and finally get help for this but I'm feeling so stuck, relying on oramorph and pregabalin and trying to maintain a full time job. Does anyone have any experience with negative bloods but a diagnosis of ankylosing Spondylitis? Thank you for reading ❤️

I rely on pregabalin and Oramorph at the moment to keep me being able to get to work and go out with my husband and children. I do have Adenomyosis, they queried endometriosis but no definitive diagnosis. A CT scan recently showed severe degeneration of the pelvis.

I am taking gabapentin, codeine, ibuprofen, paracetamol. and oramorph when i need it. I took 10ml tonight, the paramedics told me to take more. I am at a complete loss!!

I have Severe Spinal Stenosis and due to also being diagnosed with Heart Failure following a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair the only pain relief I’ve now been given is Oramorph.

hi new to this pain problem I am on other health conditions on here But need help with dosage and long term use of oramorph and what health problems it brings on I just been told that my Gp has been overdosing me seriously and that I am lucky to be alive they have been prescribing me it for over

I am so worried about being in bed so much but the pain is unbearable and even Oramorph doesn't help now . Thank goodness the Buprenorphine helps my feet and legs most of the time though the ice cold feeling and hot needles are still lurking.

I’m taking regular paracetamol, ibuprofen, codeine and oramorph which isn’t touching the pain and even scalding hot water bottles aren’t doing anything. I’m also struggling with sleep, either I can’t get to sleep or I’m up every half an hour. Is any of this side effects of dienogest?

I have to lie down more now and Oramorph doesn't really touch the pain .I'm up 3 or 4 times during the night to go to the loo and I'm just exhausted. My leg's are helped by Buprenorphine but not all the time now.

My pain has had such a negative impact on my life, I work full time and have children to look after and now rely on cocodamol and Oramorph daily. This morning i felt i couldnt take it anymore and went to A&E.

I spent last night down here after coming down here at 2am and i took some Oramorph then and when i got up this morning.

., 2.5 mg Oramorph for spinal fracture pain and 1 Buprenorphine at 9 p.m. .....usually! Then last night the kicking started and the pain in my feet and leg's. I took the Lansoprazole at 10.30 because I was burning so would that have stopped the Buprenorphine working as it should?

Ps, i only have oramorph as pain relief which i can't use before as it makes me drowsy. I have allergies to other painkillers
