Morphine & Oramorph.
Today the GP has prescribed morphine twice daily and
Oramorph
in between. Has this proven to be an affective pain relief for others please.

So far the respiratory nurse has only offered 1ml of
oramorph
up to 4 times a day. So far she has only tried it once a day, but doesn't feel much affect of it. Is this a particularly low dose that she is on? Also she is currently on clenil and spiolto respimat inhalers.

lidocaine
I’m now at the last stage of having to use
Oramorph
(Liquid Morphine) to try to relieve the pain. Saw the Consultant today who proposed Lidocaine Patches! Unfortunately he then went on to say that the funding for this medication has been stopped!

I’m confused…
Did the
Oramorph
I’ve taken for years cause my RLS or is it keeping it from being way worse? I also used Buprenorphine patches for a while for another condition but it didn’t help the RLS. Thanks.

foot and leg pain getting too much
I am not allowed to take codeine, just
oramorph
and paracetamol, obviously the gabapentin is not working yet, have been on it for a month. I don't know how to control this pain. Somebody suggested a tems machine, not sure what else I can do, it is keeping me awake and its hard to focus.

Baclofen tablets- experiences of.
He refilled my usual script for
Oramorph
,which I take when my lumbar back spondilosis and accompanying sciatica get too much. He was reluctant to prescribe Valium, which I’ve had in the past but gave me baclofen - 10mgs three x daily.

pain getting worse, reducing pregabalin, getting no help with it!
I am taking codeine,
oramorph
but nothing is helping. I know it is my choice to come off the pregabalin but the pain is hard to deal with all the time. Its like a burning, throbbing, soreness. It is deffinitely neuropathy. My Gp expects me to wait until I go on to gabapentin.

Poor communication or misunderstanding?
😅 She also advised me to take ibuprofen and paracetamol together for pain management... to which I responded by telling her I am on
Oramorph
for the really bad days and Codeine for the other , slightly less painful days🙃 It just felt like she wasn't bother about what I was saying and wanted me in and

Pleural effusion, then oramorph od !
The consensus was that it was definitely the
oramorph
- I had a couple of antibiotics but I'd had those before with no problem. So in future (hopefully never) I shall avoid anything to do with morphine.

Back again!
My Dr. doesn't seem to have a clue about medication and I had to tell him that I know that I can't take Tramadol and
Oramorph
! Apparently, I can take
Oramorph
and PreGablin!

Very yellow but GP says I'm not jaundiced
and the pain I felt after that was un-describable, and giving birth was more 'fun', especially when the staff shut the door on the room I was in when I was crying so hard for them to help me, saying the pain had gone through the roof After the

Constant pain on the right side below the ribs
Nothing will touch this pain, I have paracetamol and
Oramorph
for the pain, which it does not touch, every now and then the pain gets so severe that I do not know what to do with myself. I would be most grateful if anyone can help or point me in the right direction. Many thanks Mick (141414)

I have now been told that I have PTSD! Why?
I had biopsies etc. and a Lobectomy for Adenocarcinoma tumour in my right lung and have been left a wreck on
Oramorph
every day and Fentanyl patches and now have RLS which is a nightmare! I saw a Physio last week who told me that I had PTSD because I got upset about the misdiagnosis.
