Am I stupid!!
I am gradually taking increasing ammounts of
oramorph
which I hate. I nagged my GP for an appointment with a consultant, but was seen by a registrar who concluded that the pain was being transferred from my hip to the knee. Good job I was not relying on the physio!!

Losing all hope
I would have thought
oramorph
would be instant? My GP has been good but now I'm feeling even him is doubting me. So back to the referral, I called the hospital to see if they had any idea how long I'll be waiting, mainly just so I can roughly plan time off work. 9-12 weeks.

Anyone changed their District Nurse?
She's told me, if I take 5mls
oramorph
and it hasn't worked in 5 minutes, tale more. But it seems to take about 30 mins to start and 60 for all the pain to go. She also told me I couldn't od on
oramorph
but I can't believe that's true.

Pain & Pain Relief
Hi everyone :-) I'm currently taking zomorph 30mg twice daily (slow release morphine) pregablin 200mg twice daily and I have
oramorph
for breakthrough pain. None of which are currently working. I'm in so much pain mainly in my back and can hardly move.

All gone downhill post-op!! Please help
Is
oramorph
helpful? Does it work quicker than tablets? I feel like my GP just does not understand how much pain I'm in and I am starting to feel like he thinks I'm just a druggy but I am at the end of my tether like this is exhausting.

Feeling so sad....
Still in pain and taking 30/500mg co-codamol 4 times a day and
oramorph
when needed. When does the pain subside?? Really pulling my mood down and crying often. My husband doesn't care and endometriosis is running us. My mother has also said I'm obsessed with endometriosis.

Travelling with methotrexate injections
You have to laugh though, I put an unopened bottle of
Oramorph
and one of Lactulose through security. Which one did they take away to test? You guessed it, the stool softener 😂!!

Chronic knee pain
Apparently the joint is degrading and the nerve in the inside of the leg is damaged and the a pain is unbearable without excessive amounts of
oramorph
and anitripylin. I feel like a complete Zombie most of the time and the pain is still dreadful. The wait for treatment just makes everything worse.

Hello, I'm new here but have had symptoms for many years
When this happens Tramadol and
Oramorph
barely touch the pain. I can't manage my active job, even with steroids, which I have taken periodically over the last few years to enable me to do short contracts. I'll be starting Rituximab shortly.

Esa advice
I'm in constant pain with it and it makes life so hard especially when it flairs up and I can't move out of bed for a couple of days at a time taking
oramorph
as pain relief. On the 21st of April this year I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

Fresh Start
I take MST twice a day (morphine) and
Oramorph
for breakthrough pain, Sertraline for depression, Azithromycin (lung disease). I do wonder if the medication is hindering my weight.

Severe back pain
Was so bad went to A/E where I was given
oramorph
and sent home with 'muscle strain'. When I first started carb 20 mg I had thigh pain which subsided on lower dose and this back pain is the same sort of pain. I am in trouble managing this pain, can't leave the house as truly cannot walk.

I take Zomorph,
Oramorph
and an abundance of other meds. Not including anti inflammatory meds as I had a bout of pancreatitis last year, so was took off them straight away. I still don't have a specialist looking after me just my GP. Don't get me wrong, my GP is great.

Where now?
Nothing works, I'm on morphine, gabapentine,
oramorph
, lidocaine patches - nothing is helping. I feel so out of control. I'm only in my early 40's and I am now having to use walking sticks to get around.
