I miss the old me!
I can't control the pain at home, I'm on butrans patches because any tablets I throw straight back up,
oramorph
too, but still the pain has me screaming in agony, I like to think I have a strong pain freshold but when I do come on, I always end up saying give me a gun and let me end it!

When returning endo isn't actually endo: results of my 2nd lap, help for those in similar situations and advice on treament/clinics :)
After 8/9 weeks I finally saw an endo specialist/consultant, by this point I had spent some time in A&E as the pain was so severe I was collapsing, so I now had
Oramorph
added to my list of medication.

Sleep deprivation!
And I have to resist her asking for her
oramorph
or lorazepam medication unnecessarily as she knows they are sedatives as a side effect. She asks for them so she doesn't wake me rather than for herself so much.

Has anyone used Fentanyl (or any nasal spray/lozenges for pain relief)?
Yes, I have tried every other drug and diet and therapy that could possible help with IBS before being abandoned with
Oramorph
despite my reservations about a lifetime on morphine at only 30 years old...

Pain, pain and more pain and I have had enough!
I know I am feeling sorry for myself, but I can not control the pain, it is making me cry even after
Oramorph
. Nothing is touching the pain.

steroid injection
I took some
oramorph
and went to sleep for a few hours. I woke up and everything is back the way it was and I've been up all night. How can you be this tired and still not able to sleep? I'm sorry. I just wanted to moan, throw my toys out of the pram. tell someone who KNOWS how it feels.

Tulip - thank you, + advice re. pain relief dependence
I don't want to face it really, but i'm using fentanyl patches, codeine,
oramorph
, not because it relieves the pain, relief comes from knocking me out. It scares me. I am addicted now. I know there is no easy way out. Sooner or later, I have an amazing gp, I'm going to have to talk to her.

Still here and fighting the urge!
Pain so intense I have cried and even given
oramorph
because I can't take codeine but I still haven't given in. Why? Because I have never felt so supported as I am at the moment by people I haven't met. So really this just a HUGE thank you

Do I have fibro?
I currently take daily:- 2 x 15mg MSD, 9 x 300mg gabapentin, 1 x 25mg amitriptiline, 3 x 2mg diazepam, 8 x zapain, and I have
oramorph
as a PRN. I was looking on the web for ways to ease my pain, when I came across this site, and so many of my symptoms point to fibro.

Any support greatly received
He has been prescribed
Oramorph
which he reports is not helping. I wondered if anyone has experience something similar but has found something that successfully worked to significantly reduce this?? On a positive note he has been informed that his tumours have shrunk following his chemo.
