Rosacea
For a few years now I have been suffering with bad skin. The doctors weren't sure what it was and prescribed some topical treatment that didn't really help. Last year I was a bridesmaid for my best friend - the makeup artist for the big day almost immediately diagnosed my skin condition as Rosacea.

Dyskinesia, jaw !!!
So this is the latest diagnosis...Saw a movement disorder specialist today. He's putting me back on rOPINIRole. I took this when I had Restless Leg in 2017. Guess we'll see how it goes..

I meant to include this with the post-graduation meditation. Ice free at last, I give you the AlMorr Loop: down from here as far as you can see; hang a right and over the BirdyRose Bridge, then under the pines up to Wimborne Corner. Take a right over the bridge there. Then straight ahead up the bank

Sprained ankle
Okay so at a Christmas party, I fell and sprained my ankle! It was a grade 2 sprain so nothing awful and I was good as new after 8 weeks! I’ve just completed W1 R2 and my ankle just aaaaaches and I’m worried it’s gonna feel worse tomorrow! Does anyone have any advice other than icing it? (My freezer

Opinions please?
So haven’t posted for ages. Reading my last post, things are just the same. Except I now have d instead of c. I also do exercise everyday. I’m on a drug called Constella, but sometimes my pooh is like water. It’s unbearable. Tried all the diets suggested and had about 10 different tests to check my

N-Acetyl Cysteine
I am somewhat of a fanatic about the use of free amino acids and amino acid derivatives, because those substances have helped me in 3 major ways: muscle/connective tissue repair, immune system improvement, sleep quality. Recently, I came across this article from Izabella Wentz: https://thyroidpharmacist.com

Poll on rosacea with RA
Hi all. I hope you are all as well as can be. So, after years of being led to believe my face rash was just heat and then queeried Lupus, I have had it confirmed its Rosacea. I have a number of very tender joints and other syptoms of RA (under investigation..... Still) I would love to set up some

Symmetrical spots?
Weird title for my weird skin condition, which I've had in varying degrees of intensity for a couple of years. It's been diagnosed as Rosacea, which indeed it is if my alcoholic looking hooter is anything to go by, but I think there's a bit more to it than just Rosacea as I get these 'orrible painful

Update: Too good to be true
Hi all, I was at Derm for a cancer screen and to again seek out any new products or methods for treating my chronic Malar rash. It no longer comes and goes, just changes from red to violet depending on stress and sun. I had gotten to the point of weakening so much makeup I looked painted. So I met

Lupus butterfly or just the steroids?
Hi everyone. Just noticing recently I have a red nose with a distinct line across and red cheeks and my chest is red and blotchy. The colour varies in intensity (worse when I am flushing and sweating), is not raised, doesn't hurt. An old friend has recently been diagnosed with lupus and I was just interested

Chlamydia Pneumoniae Treatment
Hi everyone. I'm desperate for someone to help me. I have been very sick for 2 years, and during all that time, no doctor has ever been able to find what was wrong with me. I have finally been diagnosed with Chlamydia Pneumoniae, and I'm a bit scared of what I've read online when it come to success rate

Does anyone out there have any experience with Autoimmune inner ear disease (AIED)?
Hi all, I’ve had problems with my ears and hearing all my life. I’ve had an adenoidectomy, sinuses corterized, multiple grommets and t-tubes, Patulous Eustachian Tube (PET) and most recently what I was led to believe was Mastoiditis (basically chronic infection in the bones behind both ears), requiring

T4->T3 conversion & glutathione
Wondering if anyone here has done what this article suggests, and seen a clear result. https://www.nahypothyroidism.org/how-glutathione-influences-thyroid-hormone-conversion/ It appears the protocol is to take cysteine or n-acetyl cysteine, along with Bs, C, minerals, and ALA.

Rashes!!
Has anyone else had rashes, mainly on the shoulders and upper arms and a bit on the thighs. I did wonder if it was the nylon clothing reacting to sweat. Mind I was wearing a smelly helly

Red burning face
I have a question I hope someone can help me out with please. For the past year I was told I have rosacea then recently I seen someone else and they said it wasn’t rosacea. Makes since cause nothing worked and I tried everything. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? My face starts flushing about

Anyone ever diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome?
Last night I discovered Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which seems to fit my current collection of weird symptoms (everything from flushing to reflux to oedema) really well. Unfortunately it's not, currently, a broadly accepted diagnosis with doctors, which makes me very anxious about broaching it, but

Took part wearing Eynsham Roadrunners colours for the first time so was feelin a tad apprehensive and nervous. It was a cool morning, ideal for running and a relatively flat course 🤗 Met up with a friend from the bike club who runs for a Swindon club, and a large team from the ERR 🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️ There

Feeling hopeless, Seroquel helped the cramping..was starting to maybe get my life back, but now back to square one..severely "C".
So much for the "Miracle" med Seroquel was. Just feel hopeless. Before Setoquel, could at least once a week, although not very much..now I have not gone in six days. Even took a laxative, which always works last Sunday..but still very little..feel nowhere to turn and depressed. I really don't want to
