So haven’t posted for ages. Reading my last post, things are just the same. Except I now have d instead of c. I also do exercise everyday. I’m on a drug called Constella, but sometimes my pooh is like water. It’s unbearable. Tried all the diets suggested and had about 10 different tests to check my guts/bowels. Have been told my guts are amazing!! Are they?????????? What do people think about colonic irrigation? Or gut directed hypnosis? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

may be the D is a diverse reaction to the drug ( Constella ) that you're on as it is supposed to treat Constipation and your guts have overreacted to it ??

why not try stopping the drug for a week or 2 and see how your BMs work ??

I agree. Quite tempted to stop and see again what happens. Thank you. X

I would suggest contacting someone who has had personal experience with IBS and has a toolbox of therapies that work on the root causes and triggers of your IBS, not the symptoms.

Hypnosis can be a useful therapy if you know where your triggers are. NLP is a great alternative if you don't like the idea of "going under".

I am on constellation now and it gives me diarrhea every morning but I'm still constipated in the evening and in pain. I see a biofeedback nurse and she has prescribed annul irrigation which I do at home. I don't think it's a long term answer but it helps for now while I investigate other possibilities. Hope u get some relief.
