RD and gum disease
Hi all I was just reading about possible gum disease could be the cause of some RD sufferers. I am wondering if NRAS have any info. At first I ridiculed it until I thought back over my dental treatment. I have always cleaned my teeth several times a day but for past 30 years I have had to go to dentist

Hi all, I'm incredibly new to all this, so please bear with me! I'm a bit concerned about long-term opioids and chronic pain. I've been taking opioids since 2010 roughly, and I went to see a Pain Clinic person and she said that she was stopping all my pain meds (which were Longtec, Lynlor and Oramorph

Have You Tried a Dopamine Agonist?
HI all. I suffered from RLS before doctors were even familiar with the term. I had heard about restless legs syndrome on TV and wanted to try the new drug (Requip) they were advertising to help people suffering with the symptoms mentioned. I found a Dr. who had heard of it and prescribed it for me

My endo story so far...
Hi, I just wanted to share my story to see if anyone else could suggest new things for me to try or even push with my GPs. 21/03/2014 - this was my first laparoscopy, I was 18 and rushed into A&E with the most severe stomach pains on my right side. They decided to operate to look around at what's causing

Re Dental Treatment.
We have recently discussed dental treatments for AF sufferers. We established that we ought to ensure that anaethetics are adrenaline-free. Some dentists are not familiar with the new anticoagulant alternatives to warfarin. I commented that my dentist and her hygienist are totally unfazed by me taking

Moving on to radiotherapy
Met with the oncologist today. Results of CT scan show a tumor that has spread from the prostate and is putting pressure on the colon. Hence the constipation, pain and constant urge to go. Radiotherapy and opioids are the course of action. Would be interested in hearing others experiences with radiotherapy

Dental treatment
I have the dentist on Monday and he does not take any notice of my having a thyroid problem. I have to remind him each time not to include any adrenalin in the local, and each time he signs and rolls his eyes. Anyway, I was having a bit of an internet search and came across this which may be useful
