I had a Doctor tell me that as long as you take them only for pain you will not get addicted. Is that true?

World Homeopathy Awareness week 🌱
Good morning everyone, today is the beginning of homeopathy awareness week and I know there's a lot of controversy over homeopathy and think that we have to remember the power of plants, caffeine, opiate poppies, tobacco, are all powerful stimulants and plants are the source of many med's. Being an idealist

Three weeks ago I changed dinner time to 7pm, and took my
opiates
15 minutes before eating. Every single day since taking them before food the RLS has not developed until my next due dose at around 11.30. (the other things only occur in early evening after eating, though not now).

I am having trouble with severe anxiety and panic attacks. I am also tapering off of an opiate pain killer, and I am a mess. I don’t know how to calm down, I’m trying everything. Any tips on how to beat crippling anxiety symptoms?

GP playing around with my Tramadol Pain relief AND stomach is extremely swollen as if I am pregnant
Hey ladies, My name is Daniah. I'm new to this online community. I was diagnosed with endometriosis three years ago and it's absolutely horrible. I've already had 2 surgeries to remove adhesion and chocolate cysts. It seems I also have a little bit of fibroids. Doctors in hospital put me on Tramadol

Waking up after ECMO
It seems to be taking a long time to wake up but I understand patients are heavily sedated and paralysed and treated with
opiates
for pain relief. His kidneys are not working so I understand that the drugs will take longer to go out of his system.

Dealing with anxiety !
I have stopped all
opiates
, Methotrexate, and have not taken Prednisone so not a drug reaction. I am anxious about Rituxan infusion. I agreed to do it but I not sure I should have. But not what I feel is cause. On a completely different note is social relationships. My sister decided to call again.

My experiences on the effects of; lifestyle changes, supplements and drugs while trying to combat RLS.
-
Opiates
: Limited effectiveness. Codeine around 30% effective. DHC was more effective in higher doses to about 50-60% but again, risks outweigh the benefits in the long term.

LDN questions my medical team can't/won't answer!
Hi All, I have been on LDN for 3 weeks now, I am currently on 3mg, will increase to 4.5mg over the next 2 weeks. I am in Ireland, my Pharmacist has told me that this is currently an "unlicensed" medication here, and I have had to jump through some hoops to get it. My Rheumatologist prescribed this for

More Pain at Night?
Anybody else suffering pain mostly, or only, at night? Anybody know why Erythromelalgia and/or MPN bone pain can be so much worse at night? I can get through the day, but then most nights, when the pain gets bad, only three 10/325 Hydrocodone will give me any relief. And, I hate taking that much of

Post radical prostatectomy
Well it's Saturday and on Wednesday I had robotic surgery to remove my prostate at a terrific place in NYC. So far the pain and discomfort is worse than I expected and I admit to being grateful for opiate pain killers. Now it's a rough 6 days, ahead before the catheter comes out and then the next phase

MY STORY
However, (my new best friend and savior), my specialist does not seem to share my concerns, and is totally against the use of
opiates
, at least at this early stage of my diagnosis. I sometimes want to pinch myself as I can't believe the comfort that I am now enjoying.

Staying Sober
Suffering form anxiety, with a prior history of abusing benzodiazepines and
opiates
can be difficult when you are in need of a quick fix. Not that other medications don't work, but for me it seems they don't work all the time.

Augmentation
I have been on the Neupro patch for several years and felt I was augmenting. My doctor doesn’t have any knowledge about restless legs but is willing to be guided by me! After reading some of Dr Buchfuhrer’s opinions ie he takes his patients off DA’s completely and sometimes uses Gaberpentin plus an opiate
