What's working for me is dextroamphetamine. I've tried Gabapentin for RLS at 1000mg nightly and I have been going through hell. Was on methadone 160mg daily for 16 years for opiate addiction I got when I had cancer surgery.
Over one year tapered to 25mg methadone daily then quit cold turkey. I was desperate and thought I'd try my girlfriends dexedrine to see if I got any relief.
I took/take 60mg dexedrine spansules (4x15mg) when I wake up (time release) and it has made me feel human again. I'm not feeling nautious, I have an interest in normal life, depression went away, almost feel like myself again. I understand the abuse/addiction potential and I also know it sounds like it would be unpleasant being stimulated in opiate withdrawal but it blew my mind. I had tried Gabapentin, Valium, klonipin, and alcohol which did nothing compared to the amphetamine. If you wish to see more info go to

ID defiantly recommended to try it. I was very sick 🤮 and it fixed me completely. Interesting theory that panned out when nothing else did and all seemed hopeless. All benzodiazapines did was make me lazy/drowsy and did nothing for the narcotic withdrawl and RLS. Good Luck!
