CBD instead of codiene

The past few weeks or so have been a bit bad on the pain side regarding the PA, now normally the more regular jabs vastly help with this... but for the bad days (which are never as bad as the before the more regular treatment bad days... they were scary,,, bad days now are just painful and a bit breathless) I was prescribed codiene, which helped a little, but after a bad week I was very aware how bad this was (opiates all the time aren’t great) and while pain was a bit better breathing stayed difficult and mood was worse and worse, also made work harder.

Anyway I threw the codiene away and had CBD suggested , it’s only been a few days but mood is better, pain is definitely more relived and breathing is easier, hopefully back at work tomorrow ... only drawback so far is the massive cost, but think I’ll stick with it.

My point is maybe cbd is good for PA related pain when the jabs aren’t reliving / bad days were codiene isn’t... or maybe my body just doesn’t like codiene

I’m still not sure if vaping cannabidiol is actually doing anything for my neuropathic pain. I’ve just finished one month of vaping every evening and I’m about to start one month without it.

I think it has helped me to sleep better, but I’m not sure if that’s because of less pain or not.

Ah ive just begin doing. Big squirt under my tongue of 24% oil and keeping it there for a few minutes before swallowing a few times a day (not vape oil), I’ve not tried vaping as the whole chest pain and smoke (well vapour) thing seemed unwise in my case, I do sleep better with it, and normally it can be pain and or discomfort that keeps me up
