Claudication in the legs
I have recently joined. I wish I had done so two years ago. I have just read a description of Claudication of the legs and realised that is exactly what I have been experiencing. Having had Claudication of the jaw during GCA I can’t think why I didn’t relate it. Possibly because old GP mentioned steroid

Understanding ECG Heart Monitoring
Many people ask questions about heart monitoring, especially when in AF. I fell across this leaflet on the AA site just now which if you are a beginner at this Arrythmia lark may be very helpful https://api.heartrhythmalliance.org/files/download/7f82ea4db24cb28b7e3452ad158d62ee

I finally have some answers that make sense. Here goes.... The week included blood, urine tests, chest xray, holter monitor, loop recorder

anxiety over ecg
hi everyone, I hope you are having a good day. I am sorry to rant but I am having an ecg on Thursday and it is making me feel anxious and worried. I don't think I have any heart problems but I worry anyway. I still have chest ache but it is better than it was. I coughed a lot when I had covid so I don't

HCG only went up by 24 in 72hrs. Now a wait for the inevitable…
Not looking for any glimmer of hope, just wanted to write down my frustrations to an audience that can sympathise. This ivf journey is just awful. We have to go through so much and most of the time just carry on as normal to those around us. Round (4 and our last attempt) and I finally got a bfp

Paroxysmal AF getting worse
I was diagnosed with PAF last spring and put on bisoprolol plus a blood thinner. The dosage of bisoprolol has since crept up to the maximum 10mg per day as the PAF has become more frequent and longer lasting. I have been struggling to get my GP to get me an appt with cardiology for a meds review and/

Hi, I survived an SCA ans am looking to better support my heart health
Hey guys, At the end of the day, I’m a middle aged lady working to improve my heart health before more time and heart function slips away, making the climb back up that much steeper. What’s given my heart health journey more dimension is that I was born with a ventricular septal defect that closed

*Sensitive* OTD and it's a BFP.
Cant quite believe it. I'm 14dp6dt and we got our very first BFP. It felt like a particularly difficult build up this time as it took us a year to even get to point of a transfer (I suddenly developed thyroiditis last year then I had covid etc). It was PGTA tested embryo and this time I was on 10mg

Slow pulse
Hi Folks, I've just been for my second part of the heart stress test as the consultant wanted to know if I could take flecainide whilst I wait for my appointment to get another ablation. The resting test was last week but today I was told (after the canula had gone in) that my pulse was too low.

I hope this will help some of you
I have had GAD for years, my main symptoms being dizziness, feeling faint and head pressure all the time. I’ve been on antidepressants for over 20 years but I still get hospital appointments for blood tests, MRI, X-rays, ECG’s etc. as I never feel well. About 18 months ago I started having palpitations

Anxious about the next transfer - trigger warning MC
Hi everyone, I'm new to posting on the forum but I have been lurking for a while. A bit of back story - we are having IVF due to male factor and there are no known issues with me. We started IVF last November and ended up with 3 blastocysts graded 5BB, 5AA and 5BB. We had a fresh 5BB transferred which
