Hey fibrogirl41,

could be your general pain or Fibro, Make an appointment to see your GP,

We all think it might just be the dreaded "F" word😒 yes Fibro can get you all worked up with pain as we all know (selfish blooming illness)

I had pain in my groin and instantly thought another pain to add to the list, Squirming around the bed trying to get some relief,It was popping and crunching like my neck and knees, Had a work over from Doc.

It's just another area taken over my overweight body and fibro insisted to throw something else at me! 🙄 Arthritis,

It might just be the fibro, But we really should listen closely to our bodies,

We are always telling our other Fibro warriors to see our GP's, Soooooo???????? Do It, You know it makes sense,

Take care

Hi. I have groin pain on one side. I linked it to a slipped disc I had few weeks before. Physio on my back is improving things but the groin still niggling so I got my myofascial pain book out and have been working along the pubic bone edge which is sore. This is helping. Myofascial pain is common with fibromyalgia but obviously have a chat with your gp first.

Take care, Michelle

Fibromyalgia does attack the areas below the waistline, causing burning & painful sensations in the stomach & groin. It's hard at the best of times to get relieve from standing or sitting or laying etc.

The stomach is full of millions of nerves & fibromyalgia just loves this area as it's playground.

I've had this since 2009 so know this oh so well.

Sometimes if affects the bladder to.

The soreness is due to the fact that all the millions of nerves are inflamed by the fibromyalgia etc & this is what is causing the pain symptoms.Taking to many nsaids i.e. like ibrophen or nurophen causes the stomach lining to become tender,as in turn the nsaid approach causes so much acid build up,so the intestines become very angry indeed somewhat like IBS or ibd syndrome etc.

I've been studying fibromyalgia for quite sometime now so I know the do,s & don'ts etc.

Yes & it's on medical prescription & it works.I go private & not NHS.

Not going to mention what it is on the forum but I'm seeing a difference in pain reduction & relief etc.

Kindest Regards

I have bad groin pain. I'm unable to sit for more than a couple of minutes and also can't stand for long or walk. I have had it for more than 2 years. I wasn't diagnosed with FND nearly 5 years ago, but I was told 1 half years ago that I have fibromyalgia as well, so I'm not sure if it's because I have both these conditions as I also have osteoarthritis.

Hi, yes I have groin pain comes and goes. My GP said it could be Fibro connected but because I have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis suggested further X-rays.

Apparently I have to have a hip replacement, consultant said that’s what could be causing my groin ache. So glad I got it checked out, hips not that bad yet though.

I would get it checked out, all these different symptoms drive us mad don’t they.

Sending gentle hugs to you 🤗

Hi Fibrogirl at the moment I am having pain in my groins but I have got Bursitis of the hip and that causes groin pain, I have recently read up that Bursitis goes along with fybromyalgia to which I thought oh no not another thing as you know just the fibro on its own is bad enough never mind finding another very painful thing comes along I do feel for. You it's very uncomfortable feeling hope you feel better soon ime leaving you with loads of Fibro hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💐💐🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗Xx Tillytrots
