day 3 after surgery

Had surgery on monday. Didn't have too much pain, although I'm taking nurofen everyday which is probably helping. Still a bit reluctant at touching the area too much only when in the shower i use the shower head to gentle go over it, and when i dry it gentle pat with towel seems to work. Im also very careful when applying cream around wound as this is very sensitive still. I think its going well at the moment still a-lot of swelling and bruising, hopefully by the weekend it will go down a bit, guess its just a waiting game from here.

Absolutely the right attitude. It's a waiting game. The first couple weeks are the hardest and then it all eases up as you heal. You got this.

I’m almost at 3 weeks and I’m just about getting around to being able to wear clothes normally again, although I do still wrap it if I’m going to be out a lot during the day.

My advice to you would be, once you loose the initial protective gauze, buy some gauze and bandages. Then wrap the penis in the gauze , wrapping it under your balls to hold it in place. Then wrap the bandages around the gauze in the same fashion. This has been a huge help for me as clothes rubbing against the head of the penis and particularly the stitches was very uncomfortable for a good few weeks. It still is a bit sensitive in this way, even as I go into week 3
