Steroids v Rituximab - any advice/opinions?
while talking to him and going through all the drugs I can’t tolerate .. plaquenil, azathioptrine and
nsaids
cause severe stomach problems. Micofenelate gave me such hideously bad headaches within a few days that I could barely get out of bed.

Painrelief
Suffering with pain due to gallstones, as I am allergic to
NSAIDs
and opiates like most mastos, pain relief has been poor. Consultant has prescribed Nefopam 30mg. No reactions and at last pain is bearable. Better than fentanyl as not as strong.

Possible endo/adeno?
I can’t take
NSAIDs
due to my GI illness so have to try and alleviate it with codeine. I have a scan booked for a few weeks to see if anything is there, so hopefully I get some answers. Does this sound similar to anyone else’s experience of endometriosis?

Crohn’s Diagnosis ?
I have suffered from chronic headaches for years and have abused
NSAIDS
terribly. However my GI was not sure if that could cause redness or inflammation so he put me on budesonide assuming it’s Crohn’s. The budesonide did nothing.

Flair
NSAIDS
no use. Increased pred from 3.5 to 8.5 for last four days. but still the same. How long would an improvement take if it is a flair and if so should I go up more. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Feeling so fed up
Even over the counter co-codamol isn't helping massively at the moment (I can't take
nsaids
as I'm allergic). I'm currently waiting to see if methotrexate is going to work for me. But I just feel so unwell all the time and it's becoming unbearable.

Constant sore throat with Stills Disease
I’ve been drug free for nearly 40 years except pain relief and
NSAIDs
using compression and splints to support knees and wrists and generally live an adapted life that manages with Stills but the throat is wearing me down. All suggestions welcome.

Spreading Cancer (Or Just Waking It Up)
What's even more interesting is that these effects can be abrogated simply by treating the mice with
NSAIDs
to damp down the inflammation response.

Anyone experience new ovarian cysts with the Mirena coil?
At its worse I need codeine (not tolerating
NSAIDS
) and can barely walk. I will be getting a follow up scan in due course. Just wondering about other peoples experiences of this? How long did it go on for? Any advice on living with it? Thanks 😊

What do you use for pain control?
We all know
NSAIDs
are off the table, and Tylenol can work for mild pain. But what do you use for more severe pain? Whether it's for intense joint/arthritic pain, or even post op, what do you use?

Potential endo and non-hormonal IUD
I've been on painkillers,
NSAIDs
and have had an ultrasound that was normal. I am now waiting for my referral to the gyno. I was recommended the birth control pill when I was younger to reduce the symptoms but I don't want anything hormonal.

It's not working.
At the third attempt to reduce Prednisolone down the Osteoradionecrosis in my Right jaw has flared up causing intense pain, sleeplessness and inability to eat. The great Vision of my various professionals is for me to reduce to 5mg and then commence Hydrocortisone 5mg morne/10mg nocte as apparently Hydrocortisone

Worried about recent unprotected oral sex
Hey, I'm worried about unprotected oral sex. I'm new here. Basically, I had unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex with a high-risk female on the 29th of April. Starting the next week, I felt nauseated, and now I have a bit of a cough. I'm getting a postal test for HIV, Gonnorhea, Clymadia,

Why Do I Keep Getting Pleurisy ?
I've been given masses of steroid pills to take on a tapering off basis over the next 14 days and anti biotics ( no
NSAIDS
as I have had stomach ulcers ) . I feel like my throat is full of razor blades and I feel like they're ripping my throat to shreds .
