Afib, inflammation and NSAIDs
If there is any way I could come off DOACs I would love to so I could take
NSAIDs
again once I am off the steroids. In my previous posts I have stated that my Afib has never been confirmed, and I have never had any symptoms. I am wondering if
NSAIDs
might also help with Afib?

Anti-inflammatories?
But if so, why don't
NSAIDs
alleviate RLS? I'm on codeine, but would rather be taking ibuprofen or aspirin if they worked. Alas, they don't. : (

LATITUDE secondary analysis - Concurrent use of Abiraterone and NSAIDs - higher risk of Prostate Cancer Specific Mortality and inferior OS
Men who received concurrent
NSAIDs
had a higher risk of PCSM and inferior OS even after adjustment for skeletal metastases burden and pain score.

NSAIDS and Afib.
So, I read about it and yep, people with Afib are cautioned NOT to take
NSAIDS
!!! Now off of this and my Afib episodes have been nonexistent for the past week. Always wondered why these warnings are not just standard with doctors.

Hi all, just wanted to ask if anyone has had similar experience of taking
NSAIDs
?In 2019 I had endoscopy as I was experiencing stomach pain and afterwards I was told to avoid
NSAIDs
. I take pregablin 300mg x 2 daily and cocodamol if I have to.

I am thinking, at my age(78 ) I could stop taking the Edoxaban, and the aromatose inhibitor and take the
NSAIDS
and aspirin instead.

What to say about NSAIDs and muscle relaxants
Hello All -- The other day I asked my EP which
NSAIDs
would be less harmful. He replied that since I am not on anticoagulants
NSAIDs
are not contraindicated for me. I said nothing. I didn't have the heart to say I had more confidence in my wonderful UK Afib forum than in his pronouncement.

I’m in SIGNIFICANT pain but up to this point have been been told to take over the counter
NSAIDS
and ice. I contacted my hepatologist and was told to avoid
NSAIDS
if possible. The pain has intensified considerably.

Xgeva Side Effects
I cannot take
NSAIDS
because of stomach issues. Just wondering if there is a better alternative to Xgeva that doesn’t have these severe side effects. I’m going to address this, again, next month, with my doctor. Until then….Thank you for listening!!! Jody

My question: I'm not supposed to take
NSAIDs
, although I have taken a couple. Also Co Codamol. I've started a taper from 4mg to 3.5 (dead Slow method) Am I right in thinking I should delay this taper? And maybe even take a few days higher dose? Thanks, Helen

6 MONTH PMR UPDATE
Currently taking
NSAIDS
and Tylenol to control the pain. It brings it to a manageable level. Hoping to use alternative means such as weight reduction, yoga, exercise and chiropractor to assist. Last resort would be steroid shots.

knee - replacement advice
Since my initial consultation in May where I was using over the counter
NSAIDs
I’ve been moved onto Zapain and a cream - Piroxicam. I don’t sleep well at night and have limited walking ability. Has anyone else had this experience? A telephone appointment on a Sunday before Christmas.
