NovoRapid

Carb counting with NovoRapid for other meals which means about 4-6 U. Does this sound about right? My surgery is transferring me onto Levemir, are there any differences I need to know about here? Any advice will be gratefully received!

Starting bloodsugar: 8.4mmols had 15units of lantus, 1unit novorapid and half a banana. Ran for 28mins slowly and SO unenjoyably that I kept laughing out loud. Just about avoided being sick in a park bin once I’d stopped, and made it home. Am now on the sofa. Blood test: 15mmols.

looking to lose a lot of weight and started doing the LCHF diet 4 weeks ago ...results so far lost 1 inch from my Belly and reduced my Lantus from 92 units to 86 and Novorapid to 26 from 32 x3 daily :D

All through my life( I am 73) I have eaten onions, in stew, hamburgers, salads, I especially like spring onions, it doesn't seem to have effected me in any way......I am type 2 diabetes taking tablets and two types of insulin.....Novorapid and Levemir.

I am using both Lantus and Novorapid. Lantus at night only. Novorapid before breakfast, lunch and again at dinner. I take 20 units each time. Can we keep the pen and carry both types of insulin without using an ice pack in Delhi?

Now I no longer taking Novorapid at all!!! Still taking Lantus as normal. Now, I should say that I only eat once a day and have done for donkey's years so this is nothing new but I did have the flu two weeks ago and I am still recovering from it. I have not made any drastic changes to my diet.

MY SON IS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES WE ARE FOLLOWING DIET AS PRESCRIBED AND ISULIN NOVORAPID 9 UNITS AND LEVEMIR 4 UNITS . HE IS FREQUENTLY GETTING COUGH AND COLD. TRY TO CONTROL HIS FASTING WITHIN 120 AND RANDOM WITHIN 200. PLEASE SUGGEST ANY ALTERNATE TREATMENT ALONGWITH THIS.....

I am using Novorapid and Lantus to "control" the beast but it still surprises me sometimes and I still find myself with questions at times. I hope to get to know you all as I continue to learn even after all these years. :)

Doctor prescribed me 3 shots of novorapid 6 units each before meals and 10 units trebisa at night .

Due to this, I've started taking my insulin as needed (glargine and novorapid), and over the past two years I've put on 4.5 stone. I love my food, always been overweight but the point I'm at now is just ridiculous and I can't seem to shift it and I've also developed high blood pressure.

I am taking glider 2 my 1-×-1, ol min 40 ch 1-×-×, dilzem cdbkochi@gmail.com 120 mg 1-×-×, radium 20 my 1-×-×, nervous od 1-×-×, ecosprin 75 ×-1-×, rose as 40 mg ×-×-1,urinal 40 mg ×-×-1, inj- novomix 30- 18 units before breakfast, 16 units before dinner,  inj- novorapid 10 units before lunch. 

I took insulin Novorapid 10units before breakfast.. Consumed fruits (apple,pomegranate,banana,sweetlime n oranges).. Ppbs was 245.. i had a feeling of nausea & weakness.. I consumed lunch at 2pm : Same diet of raw Salad & leaves..

I am south Indian fallowing strict food regime .I take 40 units of novorapid before breakfast 50 units of novo rapid before lunch and 40 units of novorspid before dinner and 50 units of lantus at 11 pm my pp BG is 140 and fasting is 200 my hbac1 is 6.2.

i take 10 units of novorapid in the mrng,8 units in the aft.&30 units of human mixtrd 40 in the night.my diet ,1 chapathi in mrng,3 chapathi or rice in aft.3 chapathi or rice in night.but my fst bs is always abv 200 or 250.of late past one week i hav strted taking gurmar 1/4 spoon mixd with hot water
