Struggling at 60
My life has slowly fallen apart since 2002. I lost a corporate gig and never fully recovered. I initiated a divorce in 2010 and could no longer afford the house we were renting. Brain surgery in 2012. Successful but I haven't felt the same since. My savings dwindled after I finally left the corporate

Brain Surgery Recovery
After brain surgery as I had, or any type of surgery, it can be difficult to get back into life. It takes time and patience. Those 2 words I now hate. But itâs important to commit yourself to get thru the anxiety and depression. Overcoming a major event in life is difficult but it has to be done

Neuralink Rival Synchron Aims to Expand to Treat Parkinsonâs

Instead it implants its so-called Stentrode into a vein in the neck, relying on blood vessels to take it to the top of the motor cortex in the brain. Patients then use the device to manipulate

I am excited to be here...
After emergency brain surgery November 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage IV, EGFR lung cancer. I started Tagrisso immediately (targeted treatment), followed by radiation for the brain tumors, and then followed chemotherapy. I am a 57 year-old, non-smoker and extremely healthy. This surgery and diagnosis
