PMR & Alcohol
About 3 or 4 months ago I was put on leflunomide to try and help with the steroid reduction. As recommended I did not drink any alcohol whilst taking leflunomide. Unfortunately I had a bad reaction to gage leflunomide so had to stop taking it. My rheumy wants me to try again but at at a lower dose (10mg

New drug to trial
Ok so I have now got my new prescription and its leflunomide and I have to take 1 X 20mg tablet a day. I have also been prescribed Adcal-D3 Lemon tabs which I'm supposed to chew 2 a day. I've been told, and read, that it takes up to 6 weeks before any benefit might be noticed. Preds upped from the 12.5

Methotrexate Experience.
Good morning everyone. I have been on Methotrexate for 5 months now. I have not really had much reduction in pain from the PMR. I work as a landscape gardener which is very physical and am only able to manage about 2 - 3 days work a week. The only thing I have noticed is that it has improved is my recovery

Adenosylcobalamin - anyone tried it?
Has anyone added this version of B12 in, and if so, what were the results? Did you try the liquid or tablet form? Apparently it does a different job from methylcobalamin, is essential for the citric acid cycle, Kreb's cycle, and possibly is also more effective on the pins and needles side... Anyone
