All the v best. It’s difficult but be positive. Although there maybe issues after - they will be less than the position one would be in without having the procedure? Drs here would weigh out the pros & cons of taking the action compared to risk to you of not doing it, I’m sure.

Sorry if my words sounds bad Or you may think I can’t comment as not in the situation, which is true.

For me I just take a (virtual) page draw a line & see where I am with or without the options.

Pluses - you have Professionals deciding who have seen many of these, have the experience & skills to do it. Who will do what’s best for you. And ++ save you any issues you are having.

Minus - you may have some reactions but hopefully better than what you have?

Of course the decision is yours & many (even in this forum) have also not taken that & have gone for long without the need to do so. So at times the patient does know best and at times your body tells you it’s not needed. Wish you all the v best and in your decision. God keep us all well.

Hi Lynsia, relax a little, most AN patients treated by radiotherapy of one sort or another have no recovery to experience at all! Just a little tierdnes the day after treatment and back to normal life with an AN! I was treated 22 years ago and things are obviously even better today, but I hope reading my story will give you encouragement - See - anarchive.org/chris.htm

Hi there. I have had surgery to remove an AN in 1999. Terrible experience. Facial palsy and deafness. Diagnosed with another on opposite side in 2011. Was receiving avastin infusions to halt growth. Have u been offered this? It worked up until my kidneys objected, after 5 years, no damage but the function was changing. I then had radiosurgery in Sheffield in Jan 2018. It's halted.there is evidence of degeneration. I have symptoms, tinnitus, facial twitching but don't know if that's s result of radio surgery or tumour. 3cm. I wish I'd had the radio sooner with hindsight. Good luck
