Hello - I'm looking for a UK hearing loss case study for a national newspaper . The story aims to highlight the importance of having a hearing test in your fifties and some of the different causes of hearing loss . Looking for someone in their 50 s who was recently diagnosed with hearing loss after a test and had a more unusual cause ( we already have people with age related hearing loss , tinnitus , loud noise damage ) - so perhaps something like acoustic neuroma on sudden sensorineural hearing loss, adult glue ear etc. It would involve a phone interview and we'd send a photographer .
