Interested in your opinions on this. Autoimmune illness.
All this time I have been having problems with my feet,I think it's Morton's
neuroma
. and I am in constant pain, sometimes worse than others. So yesterday:- arrived in plenty of time and waited over half an hour after my appointment time, only to see a registrar.

Pain Quinine and other medication.
I've had quite a lot of muscle pains, I had a spasm in the trapezius muscle two months ago and due to mortons
neuroma
had a spasm last week in which my toes went in different directions. These have both left me in pain.

Should I have steroid injections in my feet before my 1st Rheumy appointment?
I have got a mortons
neuroma
(swelling in the nerve) in both feet. I don't think all of my foot pain is all down to them though. The orthopaedic consultant has recommended injections in both of them.

Just wondering does or has anyone suffered with a mortons neuroma?
Its a damaged nerve covered in scar tissue found in the toe web space. I had one removed in January to find I have 2 more 1 in each foot. It is quite rare to have so many and I am wondering whether it has anything to do with inflammatory arthritis? I am seeing the orthopaedic consultant this Tuesday

Mri results waiting time :) how long and how are you told? Thanks x
I have had tinnitus in my left ear for 3 months almost all the time, sounds like morse code. Dont feel like I have hearing loss although I do keep having to ask people to repeat things. Also loud sounds irritate me at times. Sometimes I feel like I have a hangover without drinking. I have a strange pressure

Diagnosed with Vestibular Schwannoma
I received a letter to inform me that I have Vestibular Schwannoma, not what I was expecting, but I knew something wasn't right. I had, at work, noticed a big drop in the hearing on my right side. As part of our on-going medicals we used to have regular Audio-grammes (these have since been dropped due

I had a 4cm AN removed in Sept 99, suffered from horrendous head pain for 2 years but other than the complete deafness on right side and have a slight facial palsy i have been fine. About 3 years ago my right eye started to weep when i chewed which i know can be due to nerve regrowth that loses its

New Boy
Got diagnosed last week. AN in right ear. 3 years in the developing. It was the tinnitus that drove me to the ENT guys and not the hearing loss, although that was becoming a bit irritating (no balance problems to date). Feel quite relieved that all the symptoms fit those of AN and that the unknown element

Just been diagnosed.
Eventually I was referred to an ENT specialist and fillowing a hearing test then an MIR scan I was finally diagnosed with an acoustic
neuroma
. The idea now to to wait and see how it developes before taking any action.

How did people cope when they were first told they have an Acoustic Neuroma?
2 weeks ago I was told that my loss of hearing was caused by an AN. I am waiting to find out how large it is and therefore what the solution may be. I know I need to know this before I can work out what to do next but at the moment my head is just not in a good place. It doesn't help that mum is going

shin splint, mortons neuroma, achilles and orthotics...
I have an old achilles tendon (tear) injury and a mortons
neuroma
(feels like a marble in the ball of your foot) and now a shin splint. I completed the week 4 runs and as luck would have it I got my specially made orthotics. However I did develop a shin splint in w4.

Has Anyone ever had an Acoustic Neuroma return.
Had surgery 16 yrs. ago by recently have had pain on that side of my head, especially behind my left ear and along the scar where they removed it. Just wondering as the Dr. told me that they removed it entirely and I would make medical history if it grew back. Thanks for your feed back.

My Silver Anniversary
Hi everybody. I've just had my silver (25 years) anniversary of my surgery to remove three neuromas from the left side of my head. My op was carried out by Chris Adams at The Radcliffe Infirmary in 1987. I was in a pretty poor state for quite a while with head pain, loss of balance, total deafness

Hi has anyone found an alternative solution to hearing loss other than using a hearing aid?
I realise this is a completely different scenario but just wondered if anyone has had anything similar post acoustic
neuroma
surgery?

After surgery for an Acoustic Neuroma in June 2011, I was told that I had got a Facial Nerve Neuroma. Has anyone else had this experience?
Apparently 1:100 patients having this surgery are found to have Facial Nerve Neuromas. Sometimes it is not clear at MRI scan if the tumour derives from the Acoustic Nerve or the Facial Nerve as both may be involved. To preserve my face, the wonderful surgeon left some of the tumour, which seems to
