Interesting find, b6 as well as b12, and diabetes
I discovered by chance last week that I have a genetic thing called Morton’s toe, not the same as Morton’s
neuroma
. It’s a longer second toe and toe joint. Causes plantar fasciitis amongst other stuff, that’s how I came across it.

My doctor sent me for a MRI of my ears and brain stem to rule out an acoustic

which is a type of brain tumour , all came back clear . I have now been referred to a ENT but god knows when this appointment will come through and all i want to do is get to the bottom of this ..

Today, we'd like to hear how your acoustic neuroma has impacted your social life.
Has there been an impact on your partner? Parents? Children? Friends? Or other extended family members?

my story with T
really worry about the T until after a few days it didn't seem to be going away ,so this is when my HA kicked in big time . i contacted my doc (telephone only due to the current situation) and because i had some mild vertigo symptoms a while ago she wanted to send me for a MRI to rule out acoustic

Case study request for hearing loss
Looking for someone in their 50 s who was recently diagnosed with hearing loss after a test and had a more unusual cause ( we already have people with age related hearing loss , tinnitus , loud noise damage ) - so perhaps something like acoustic
neuroma
on sudden sensorineural hearing loss, adult glue

What do you know now that you wish you had been told when you were first diagnosed with a AN?
What general advice would you give a person who has been newly diagnosed with Acoustic
Neuroma
?

worried about progression
I'm new here; got diagnosed with an acoustic
neuroma
last June following the loss of hearing in my right side and a referral to ENT. I apparently got missed off the 'to action' list and so didn't have a follow on appointment or repeat MRI until March 2020.

Suspected Acoustic Neuroma
Hello, I’ve been referred to see a specialist with suspected Acoustic
Neuroma
. I was curious as to how long everyone waited to be seen for initial appointment for scans etc?

Just finished Week 3 Run 3 and the outside of my knee hurts - do you think I need physio or rest?
I was devastated because I’ve had major foot problems this last twelve months (metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis , Morton’s
neuroma
, bursitis,...yes, all at the same time). One year of treatment including orthotics, painful foot injections and only wearing specialist Footwear).

Tinnitus getting worse or Hyperacusis?
I was referred 2 years ago, had MRI to check for accoustic
neuroma
- all clear - & had hearing test. Tinnatus is unexplained as it appears to me to be in both ears. About 4 weeks ago I was having trouble sleeping because I could hear a noise and feel vibrations throughout the night.

When you were first diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma, what was your doctors initial advice?
Did your doctor have a treatment plan that you still follow or has this changed? This experience can be really overwhelming so we have compiled a list of questions to ask when you see your medical team! https://www.thebraintumourcharity.org/brain-tumour-diagnosis-treatment/navigating-the-healthcare-system
