Do unilateral tinnitus and High Frequency loss means I have AN?
I have been experiencing unilateral tinnitus on left ear for the last 7 months and at my audiology appointment, I learned I have high frequency loss (I did not know i had). I will have an MRI Wednesday but i think it is usual diagnostic methodology. I do not have any other symptoms like dizziness, vertigo

Blurred vision
I am currently under investigation for an acoustic
neuroma
due to left sided tinnitus. I was referred to ENT 4 weeks ago but so far no joy with an appointment unfortunately. However, yesterday on 2 occasions I developed blurred vision to my left eye. Each lasting about 20 min. No pain.

Morton’s Neuroma/Fibroma
I’ve experienced odd foot pain and the sensation of having a quarter taped to the bottom of my foot off and on for several months. I assumed it had something to do with MS and ignored it, but will be talking with my PCP when I get home from visiting family. Do any of you have trouble with this?

Seasick On A Boat
I was wondering if anyone has gone out on a big boat after having AN surgery. The reason being; my son and daughter-in-law gave me a ticket to go on a whale watch with them. I was always prone to being seasick when on a boat, and since I am one year post-surgery and still have bad headaches and balance

Do you think this could be an Acoustic Neuroma
Late last year my doctor indicated I might have a Acoustic
Neuroma
and made an appointment for me to see an Ent specialist. I was to scared to attend the appointment. I suffer with really bad anxiety and depression. Also had cancer twice since 2016.

Possible causes of Acoustic Neuroma
Like most people, I have looked through the internet for more information and possible causes of AN and have found the following. Possible exposure to radiation as a child. An association with Parathyroid disease. A condition called NF2 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vestibular_schwannoma Does

Post op hip pain + poor circulation? 4.5cm acoustic neuroma
I was finally diagnosed with a 4.5cm acoustic
neuroma
in October 2020 and had it removed in November. The operation was amazing and the surgeons successfully removed 100% of the tumour, keeping all facial nerves in tact.

Balance problems
I’ve been to my doctor and they seem to think the balance problems are associated to my
neuroma
. I would be very greatful for any advice on my next steps as getting any information from my doctors has been really difficult. Take care all :)
