7 months post ablation
Hi Everyone, just thought I’d post and see if anyone can shed any light on what’s going on with me. So in October 2018 I was diagnosed with AF and SVT and had a cryoblation. Apart from a few jumps I have been completely fine. I am now 3 months pregnant and yesterday I was sat watching tele and I sniffed

Ectopic beats and heart rate
Ectopic beats seem to be worse lately and I’m getting them on and off every single day. Doc isn’t concerned at all and all tests so far have come back normal other than the benign ectopic beats. Can anyone reassure me that they really are nothing to worry about...? I also always have a high resting heart

Apixaban and indigestion
I have been changed from Rivaroxaban to Apixaban and since the changeover I seem to be getting a very sore chest (like reflux burning). Does anyone else have this? I didn't have anything like that on Rivaroxaban. I do have some Lansaoprazole, but I read somewhere that taking remedies can lessen the

Vagus nerve stimulation for reducing AF
I was copyediting a cluster headache paper talking about an electro-stimulation device used on the vagus nerve to reduce these headaches, and wondered (as the vagus nerve is involved) if anyone had looked into it for AF. Turns out a study has finished that found an 85% reduction in AF over six months

Information re: beta blockers
Hello everybody. I'm looking for some advice today. I have paroxysmal atrial fib, and am taking 1/4 tab of 25 mg Metoprolol 2x/day (6.25 mg). If I increase the dosage, I get severe brain fog, so much that I can't even operate the TV remote. My heart rate and B/P are both fairly low, heart rate usually

Long term after effects of viral meningitis
I was diagnosed with VM in April 2011. So 8 years later and I still suffer from daily headaches. Some days are easier than others but I go through "spells" where the headaches get really bad for weeks at a time. I also still suffer from extreme fatigue and now have anxiety. I was on Amitriptyline for

Bisoprolol Side Effects
I've been absent for about a year ..... struggling with this site now as it's not how it used to be. Never mind, glad it's still around. So many of us are struggling with the side effects, I know - they never seem to go away. Anyway, last January I was so exasperated I reduced from 2.5 mg to 1.25

Need advice re pacemaker.
It was diagnosed with AFIB 2.5 years ago, & it has been persistent since Dec. 2018. I have had numerous conversions, been on and off a multitude of meds, & had an ablation in March of 2019. Nothing seems to keep me in sinus rhythm, & it's a struggle to keep my heart rate below 110. A pacemaker has
