Taking Prednisone at evening meal instead of mornings
Having taken Prednisone for 3 months now and tapered from 20mg to 9mg am getting increasingly tired during the day. Does anyone take their medication at their evening meal instead of breakfast? Also take medication for PBC in morning and when taken together they seem to be really making me feel awful

Should I go back on 1 or 2 mg prednisone due to fatigue?
Hello friends! After a four year term of GCA, while doing a very slow taper of prednisone l have been off of prednisone for several months. Occasionally if I’m very fatigued I take a 1 mg. I have been very fatigued for the last few days and I’m wondering if I should maybe go back on a daily 1 mg

The continuing saga of Scout and Coco, Not all change is welcome.
It is with sadness that I report that My "vacation" may come to an abrupt end . After cruising along with an Undetectable PSA for a little over 2+ years, my recent test results indicate a PSA of 0.03 and my Testosterone jumped from <7 to 13. The good news is my T is coming back but it looks like

Medication not working
I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis for nearly 20years. I’ve tried, methotrexate, Arava, adalimimab, entanercept, ruituxan, filgotinib, baracitinib and a few others that aren’t biologics. The problem is, they don’t work for me. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what are you taking now. I’m at my wits

Lifetime
Wonder if there are any on here who believe they will spend a lifetime on Prednisolone. Been on it for 16 years and am now on 2mg;1mg on alternate days. Never seems to alter each tome I see my GP or Rheumy. Just wonder if I should accept it.

Tired of colitis
I first was diagnosed with proctitis when I was about 20 but the doctor prescribed a sedative, believing it was stress related. After that I had about 4 or 5 flare ups over the course of the next 50 years, not having been officially diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis until 12 years ago. Mostly I tried

Thinking about trying Veozah. Is anybody aware of any drug interactions? I'm currently on Leuprolide and ABI plus prednisone.

Adrenal testing with PMR
Hello all. Can adrenal tests be done while on Prednisone? I have heard different answers in the past including one Endocrinologist I saw about a year ago regarding extreme fatigue and who would not test me until I was off Prednisone. I was on a relatively low dose of Prednisone at the time. Wondering

Masks during moderate air quality?
Hi. I’m traveling where the air quality tends to be moderate. The last time I had an asthma flare and ended up on prednisone. I’m hoping to avoid that this time and wondering if masks help. Or does anyone have advice on tips to mitigate moderate air quality? Thanks!

I am intolerant of the drugs azathioprine and mycophenolate, as I am intolerant of drugs containing thiopurines. I am 72 and have been told I am too old for tacrolimus. I am currently on prednisone. I want to come of these as I feel really unwell with various symptoms. What treatments are there left

I take metformin 850mg three times daily and no other anti-diabetic medicine. I have been taking it for some time without adverse effects and now, mainly because I am on prednisone, want to achieve maximum reduction of my HbA1c. When should I take the tablets to achieve this please?

Is this the dreaded return?
Hi all, long time no speak, though I do read and keep in touch regularly. A bit of my back story…. Diagnosed in Dec 2018 with PMR then January 2019 GCA. CRP at diagnosis was 157 and ESR 118. It was a rollercoaster to say the least and for the support from all the fantastic knowledgeable people in this

what is the adrenal zone?
I've tried searching in FAQs but without success. What prednisolone doses constitute the adrenal zone? I am now down to 12.5 and notice a tendency to weepiness that I didn't have before. I went to 12.5 daily last Thursday, after 2 weeks of 15 mg and 12.5 mg on alternate days. At the start of the
