Higher Fibroscan Result Less than a year
His diagnosis was NAFLD/
NASH
., but after excercising and dieting he was happy that his liver enzymes were back to normal and second Ultrasound showed no fat. He has never been overweight , he just carried some excess weight around the abdomen.

EMPATHY as Part of PTSD
The Highly Sensitive Person by Peter Messerschmidt and Sarah Sydney
Nash
“I am a Highly Sensitive Person.” Today, I can publicly make such a statement and not feel embarrassed or brace for an onslaught of eye rolling or snide comments from the people around me. However, it wasn’t always so.

NASH Cirrhosis (De Compensating)
My dear husband aged 74 has been diagnosed with
NASH
De Compensating Cirrhosis of the Liver. He has ascites which needs draining every 2 weeks. My biggest worry in all this is that he has extreme personality change as the fluids build up. He displays parania type behaviour and very aggressive.

Abnormal Blood tests
I have diabetes for several years and also drinking regularly in moderate amounts, So I am not sure if this is
NASH
or ASH. ANI calculator indicates 96% possibility of ASH . I too feel so as I have been drinking earlier from when I was diagnosed with Diabetes ? 2.

Liver Transplant List.
He has
NASH
. Since this treatment he's felt worse. Saw Hepatologist yesterday about ct scans and Dr says the scans look good and the tumour "well treated." We asked if my husband could be considered for a liver transplant and were told no.

HCV decreasing while NASH, ALD increasing among LT patients
#Patients waiting on the #liver transplant list for #HCV have dramatically decreased, while patients for #
NASH
and #ALD have increased. What could be the reason for this trend? http://bit.ly/2kLgChO

Hi my name is John Nash
Hello everyone. I am here because I've decided to lose a few pounds. Hopefully to this might help to reduce my sleep apnea. John.

Does NAFLD cause pain??
Or if it had progressed to
NASH
, would that have been clear from blood tests anyway? Just not sure whether to ask for more tests, or just accept its only a niggle and try to lose more weight.

NAFLD to NASH to finding out the exact cause - where to go from here...
I don't know if I should request a referral for a Biopsy to determine 100% that its
NASH
and try to get it staged (fibrosis/vs massive inflammation), and I also don't exactly know the cause of my liver's
NASH
- ie. is it caused by fat alone, genetics, immune?

My Mum has
NASH
so I want to act safely for my son's and my sakes. I want us all to be healthy and reverse this but live a little as long as it's not detrimental to their health.

Help! Sleeping issue.
Hubby has
NASH
cirrhosis. Having finally got the HE under control and the decision on the viability of a transplant my husband is suffering for lack of sleep. He just can't sleep at nights and maybe manages 3 hours top. Some days he doesn't doze so is getting tired and irritable.

Parkinsons detox
I just joined this forum after seeing my mom struggle so much with her PD. Over the years have introduced mucana , a few supplements , exercise etc , but a recent fall has really pushed her back where she is tired, sleepy and can barely walk (she was only walking with the helper before also) . Wish
