Nafld/Nash: Anyone else dealing with... - British Liver Trust
Nafld/Nash
I have Nash .I also have sphincter it oddi I have had Nash for over 12 years I am vegetarian and I don't drink alcohol. My last appointment with the liver doctors has shown that the fat on my liver is getting worse.I had a fibroscan and it showed that I could go into cirrhosis I don't know what else I can do to stop this horrible disease
Ty for the response Werzal, I'm still in the discovery stage of this disorder, it has only been 3 months since I was diagnosed with so still new to me but was wondering if the emotional, mental issues associated with Nash/Nafld ever get better. The anxiety, agitation, depression, sleeplessness is very bad for me right now and the docters don't seem to want to address them, any info you have on this would be greatly appreciated.Ty😀
I do suffer from sleeplessness I am sorry there is no magic way of dealing with this.Doctors here just say healthy lifestyle lose weight etc. I also consider myself very lucky as earlier on, when first diagnosed my condition did not get any worse. I think now just try and live life to the full as healthily as you possibly can and try to be as stress free as you can also .Sorry I cannot be more positive for you .Sue
Also please refrain from any unnecessary medication particularly ibuprofen .
Hi
I have NAFLD for 15 years now.
but last 2 years I satrt to suffer right side pain, my fibroscan score last year was 6.9 and stage 1 F in Australian measurment
I was so scared coz we have some liver problems in family and I had a colon cancer in 20012
so I took all the advises from this great site and start juicing fruit and veggies, cut down sugar, salt, fried food, fatty food and no alcohol no overcounter pain killer. even I suffer very sever migrain
My new fibroscan score is 4.4 and no fibrossis my MRI scan show no evidance of infeltration any more but I still have moderate fatty liver .
sorry for the looong post and my bad spelling
, but I hop I give you some hope for reversing this desease
good luck.
