Continuing Liver Drama
My LIVER story originally began in 2003 when I was initially diagnosed, via biopsy, with
NASH
. I would argue that it commenced long and longer before that, but I have seen nothing in the literature exploring this issue.

Histamine Intolerance and Liver Disease
Diagnosed with
NASH
. I have now developed allergic reactions to a number of foods which results in allergic rhinitis when I eat. Has this developed in anyone else. I’ve read that Mass Cell Activation can be a predictor of liver disease severity.

Elevated liver enzymes on routine bloodwork, what can I expect after the ultrasound?
Is it more likely NAFLD or
NASH
? Are they reversible? Thank you so much for the replies...

Ongoing treatment for NASH
Is this common or should they keep checking on progression for
NASH
and fibrosis more frequently?

I was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy in 2016 and then I was diagnosed in November 2019 with NAFLD/
NASH
. I've had all the usual tests but have only been able to have a phone consultation with the hepatologist Post diagnosis due to Covid 19.

If you don't care about liver disease maybe you should just ignore this
We are the Voice of
NASH
but when I talk to companies or agencies about things that, as patients, we need, they always want to know how big my army is. If you are in this fight, you need to be counted. Even if you can't watch this webinar live, sign up, you will get a link to a recording.

NASH
Well now 10 yrs later I've been diagnosed with
NASH
that would be fatty liver Stage 2, I think. Next stage would be cirrhosis or cancer. Well, I've live a rather sendentary life and eaten junk food, etc. I now have to turn everything around if I want to go on living a health life.

Berberine for NASH/NAFLD
This morning I read about a trial that was done using Berberine supplement, that showed improvement in the test subjects with NAFLD and
NASH
. The study showed the dosage as 3 times daily but did not give dosage amounts that I could find. Has anyone here tried Berberine to improve
NASH
or NAFLD?

I am heading into my 3rd biopsy (Im apart of a drug research and have

compensated cirrhosis and fat on liver??
My husband has early compensated cirrhosis due to fatty liver/
Nash
. His last two ultrasounds (6 months apart) aren’t showing much fat on his liver now. He has lost about 30-35 pounds over the year by eating healthier.

Found a Medic who was NICE and KIND to me leading to prolific tears.
Remember how my journey began, 2002/2003 I was diagnosed with Diabetes and, shortly thereafter with
NASH
. Several years later my Liver Consultant discharges me on the grounds my liver enzymes are stable despite being higher than many others with
NASH
. Ie. My GGTs are in the thousands.

Anti-depressents
I know this could be a personal question but it looks like I might have to go on anti-depressants even though I dont want to due to having
NASH
and wanting to give my liver the best chance of reversal. Is anyone on any anti-depressents but still having good outcomes against
NASH
or NAFLD?
