Ranitidine & Hydroxychloroquine Unavailable
Anyone else having problems getting Ranitidine? It has been unavailable at my local village pharmacy for a couple of months. When I asked at the GP Surgery Pharmacy about it they told me it was no longer on the list of prescribed drugs and I should buy Gaviscon over the counter! I asked at the village

Why all these PPI are not working for me?
I have been diagnosed beginning of April with esophageal reflux, acid gastritis, duodenal ulcers and inflamed Xiphoid process. They gave me a steroid injection on my Xiphoid which aggravated the ulcers. Don’t ask me why they did that?! I took pantoprazole for three weeks didn’t help and now for a week

A couple of years ago I was prescribed Adalat, not for BP as my BP was always low, but for Raynauds Phenomenom in my feet. It caused Fluid retention in my legs and face so I stopped taking it as I could manage an attack and as summer was coming, less attacks anyway. BP and Raynauds were fine. The only

Advice re. my mum’s BP (NSTEMI last year)
Apologies in advance for the long post, but I feel like I’m losing my mind here, and the detail is relevant. We have an extensive, highly varied cardiac history, particularly on my mum’s side. She had obvious cardiac symptoms for years, even had a dodgy ecg when participating in a medical research project

Naproxen
Has anybody has these tablets before? I’m wondering if anybody had any side effects from them. Such as breathlessness or having pressure or tightness on chest?

This started 1 day after my January 2nd ablation and has never totally gone away. Some days it is very evident with allot of discomfort. Naproxen etc. is off the menu due to Apixaban. Does anyone have a) similar experience & if so what did you do & b) is there a greater risk with Covid 19 around ? Many

Hypothyroidism ,long term use of PPI medication and development of pernicious anaemia.
Does anyone here know what are the specific symptoms of pernicious anaemia are? I have hypothyroidism which appears to be Hashimotos and I believe that I have a T4 to T3 conversion problem. Recently I have seen a worsening of symptoms and I have experienced some quite frightening things such as dementia

Strange runny nose
Question, I'm on 2.5mg bisoprolol, 20mg losartan, 25mg artovastatin and 75mg soluble aspirin I also take omeprazole. I've developed this strange runny nose. It's not like a normal runny nose but like water suddenly starts rapidly dripping out. More so when I bend over. Does anyone else experience this

Head embedded in tissue box.
I must admit my first major flare had me in tears most of yesterday. After 5 days of hoping it would all go away it hasn't. As advised by Consultant, I had reduced MTX (they're worried it isn't suiting me and over suppressing immune system). Under normal cicumstances Consultant said would have me in

Abdominal Pains and all
Hi all, I hope you are staying safe and well. I'm just writing to see if anyone has been in a similar situation to me, I'm really feeling unwell and not sure what to do. To give you the short story I was diagnosed with 3 issues last year, fibroids, endometriosis IV and chocolate cysts on both ovaries

Naproxen
I am just under 3 months post ablation for svt. March 17 I was diagnosed with costochondritis after a bout with pleurisy via viral infection. I was put on naproxen. My question is, can naproxen cause palpitations? And it also feels like my heart is working harder. For example when I take my daily walk
