Pain relief
Has anyone found any pain relief to be effective? I’ve tried so, so many and there’s not much left for me to try. I have a brilliant GP who is always happy to listen so I thought if anyone had found anything effective, then I could always suggest it. Currently prescribed naproxen and diclofenic suppositories

Hi, I have end stage osteoarthritis and was told before Christmas I would have my op by April. I’ve still not heard anything. The pain is horrendous now. I am taking Tramadol. Paracetamol, naproxen and amitriptyline . The Dr also recently prescribed morphine which done absolutely nothing so stopped taking

Vent- Fed up roll on tomorrow.
Dunno if it's grief, if it's feeling sorry for myself or just my life right now, or combination of all 3 but I just can't stop crying right now.My pain levels are minus 10 out of 10, worst I've been. Never knew elbows could hurt so much. I messed up with my pills and have run out of my pregablin

NSAIDs
Hello All! I am writing to ask about the received wisdom of NSAIDs in this group... I have wicked foot and Achilles problems and it is possible an NSAID would be helpful. But apparently some are linked with a 76% higher probability of having Afib! A cursory glance at google tells me that Naproxen

MTX/Sulphasalazine, heart burn and weird sensory side effects.
Until recently I was taking MTX with Naproxen. I took lansoprazole with the naproxen as directed. In December I was given a course of steroids and came off naproxen/lansoprazole. I had acid reflux and assumed it was in part due to eating too much Christmas chocolate. Once I came off the steroids I went

Chronic pain post navicular fracture surgery
Hey, new to posting but I’ve been looking for places with people who may have some similar experiences. I am 2 years post op to correct a navicular fracture which has healed well from a surgical aspect. I do however have chronic, debilitating pain on a daily basis now. I’ve seen surgeons and i’m waiting

Miserable…when will this flare up end😔..
Hey everyone, I hope those who read this aren’t in as much pain as I am at the moment, this flare up has lasted days now. I’m on regular paracetamol, tramadol and naproxen. My hot water bottle has actually started to blister my already mottled skin on my stomach. I’ve tried hot baths too. Does anyone

frustrated with restriction of naproxen
After an unsuccessful spinal fusion surgery in 2001(and 2 more since) I’ve been taking naproxen for about 15 years and get that together with a long list of other pain meds every 3 months,I’ve now been told I can only have 2 month supply of naproxen at a time which is messing up my repeat meds routine

GP now limiting my naproxen
I’ve been on naproxen for about 15 years and get that together with a long list of other meds every 3 months, however my clinic has advised I can only have a 2 month supply of naproxen at a time which is completely messing up my meds ordering routine especially as they keep getting script wrong. Appointment advice/cimzia/pain
Does anyone have any advice for me? On cimzia for 11 weeks now, I have an appointment next week, so will have been on it 12 weeks. I have noticed an improvement, but it's been very gradual. I've been able to reduce steroids from 7.5mg to 5mg and I take about half of the naproxen and codiene I was taking

What pain relief do you use?
Following on from my thread, I just wondered what pain relief you use? Naproxen, paracetamol, Mefenamic acid have done nothing for me. I'm currently on co-codamol 30/500 which is working but is saying my constipation to be worse than it is already. Does anyone use Amitriptyline? Thinking it might help

Muscle spasm and cramps
I am experiencing leg and feet muscle spasms and cramps. It happens during the night and they have me waking up and jumping off bed to stand up and stretch. The pain is unbearable on the bottom of my right foot, these are not 'regular' muscle cramps. I cannot point out which of my medications are causing
