low dose naltrexone - much safer than steroids & may work for pmr
I had this research recommended to me and have taken it to my doctor to see what he thinks about using this to get off low dose steroids. I am copying the info here so that anyone who want to can investigate it themselves. There hae been good results with eliminating inflammation in rheumatoid arthritus

Do you feel better on low-dose naltrexone?
A couple of people on here have said they're taking LDN, low-dose naltrexone. Does it help? In what way(s)? How long did it take to have an effect? Any downsides? I have given details on LDN to all my consultants, including Professor Khamashta. He was very interested but wanted more details

Has anyone heard about LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) ?My sons girl friend went on it two & ahalf weeks ago for Lupus. It is helping her. You can read about it on line. I will be discussing it this Tuesday with my Neurologist. There are claims about it helping Parkinson's & many other conditions.
