has anyone heard of low dose naltrexo... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
has anyone heard of low dose naltrexone my consultant recommended it dont know what to do
I haven't why not high light word and google it could be interesting, how rude of your consultant for not explaining hugs xx
It is an mainly used for recovering drug addicts
as it blocks the need for opiates also used for
People trying to come off drink it blocks the
Need for opiates, and in the case of drink it
Makes them feel ill if. The then return to drink
I believe that it is used for people with MS
I read some where that it has been tried with
People with fibro with good results
There is a lot of information on he net
im just afraid to use it all the research has been done in america and he hasnt been aproved here yet so confused my stomach cant tolerate alot of drugs so dont know what to do for the best help xx shaz
Hard, well at the end of the day it's got to be your
Decision, I work in a prison nurse I have seen this
Used lots but not for fibro
Americans seem to be a lot more careful than we
Are, if it were me I would give it a try, anything to make
Life better, we all know that at the end of the day we
Are addictive to drugs but that's better than being
In pain, at least you may get your life back a bit, I
Think most of us can put up with some pain, as
I don't think any thing takes it away completely.
They have had good results in America, let's face
It if you read the side effects from the other drugs
We are on they are not good are they, but we still
Take them, it does not mean that you are going
To get the side effects.
The only thing I have noticed is that, people suffer
A bit with heartburn, but then I am dealing with drug
Addicts, if that happens to you, you can have
Something like gaviscon.
I wish it was me I would try any thing to get a better
Life, but your decision at the end of the day
I hope it works for you if you decide to have a go, don't
Be frightened, look at the side effects that the medication
You are on now is suppose to give you
Love Viv
thanks vivien for your information will think long and hard about it you have been very helpful hugs shaz xx
