Bupropion (Wellbutrin)
Just wanted to share a story. I've had RLS for about 15 years now and currently I take .5mg of Pramipexole twice a day, usually around 3, which works so-so, and then around 9. Gets me through the night OK...most of the time, not always. The reason I start so early is that if I lay down for a nap or

Changing meds: Strattera to Wellbutrin
TL;DR - I asked my doctor to do a trial of treatment with bupropion (Wellbutrin). I'm hoping that it treats my Inattentive traits as well as atomoxetine (Strattera) and that it also helps me with motivation. I've been on generic Strattera (atomoxetine) for three years. It helps with most of my Inattentive

My current struggle, anxiety
This isn’t strictly related to PP but in my lifelong saga with depression, anxiety, PD, and PP, I do still live with anxiety. It’s been bad lately. I’m also a 13 year breast cancer survivor and after mastectomy in 2010 I made the mistake of getting reconstruction with a breast implant. I won’t go

My response to the AASM Guidelines For RLS
I am posting this in the hope that it helps in forming your own response and if you agree with some of them, including them in your own response might help them pay more attention to them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Things My Doctor Said in Notes./Rant On
I am abandoning this woman! (From January9, one day after a disabling super flare.) "Prednisone dosing - she is currently on 9mg of prednisone daily. buprenorphine & LDN
I feel like an idiot 😱. I thought that I was having augmentation-like issues with buprenorphine. I had overlooked the fact that I started taking LDN (low dose naltrexone; 4.5mg dose) a few days ago after reading about some people getting results from it for RLS. (I had the LDN around because I used

Is it bad to ask for a stimulant?
I just started the medication Bupropion, and this is my first time trying meds. I just got diagnosed and I'm 29. After doing some reading, it seems that stimulants are the most effective drug. I was diagnosis by a nuropsychologist, who said I had AD/HD combined, with a Moderate severity. The low dose

Naltrexone treatment for fibro pain?
My old pain doctor recently retired and I have seen a new one. Unfortunately, she won't continue my low dose hydrocodone/acetaminophen. She wanted to put me on Nalrexone which is for treatment of opioid addiction. It is also found to treat other things including fibromyalgia. What the doc failed to mention

Is anyone taking naltrexone?
Hello, I had surgery six days ago and thought this might be useful for anyone else to know: Right before I went into the operating theatre, the anaesthetist was going over my chart and said to me “Are you taking this?” (naltrexone). I had actually ran out a few days before my surgery, which he said

Nausea & Buprenorphine
As some of you will have seen from my earlier posts I had succeeded in blocking RLS (after DA augmentation 7 months ago) by use of buprenorphine patches and tablets but have had to take action against some very severe nausea which appears with both tablets & patches.I also experienced a similar nausea

Be careful about quality of medications
Hi all, In the 'wild west' UK I just want to caution everyone about checking where their medication comes from. In the past I've posted about getting clopidogrel with many, many additives from a pharma brand with many court findings against them for quality. I managed to get my GP to specify a

PDF of Hopkins or Mayo DA Withdrawal protocol??
Hi, I seem to remember a while back finding a link (here I think, maybe on Reddit?) to a PDF someone had gotten from Hopkins, or one of the other big clinics, detailing their precise protocol and what to "expect" when finally off of a DA in terms of days, etc. Can someone please repost that? I went

It's been a while for me since I've posted anything.
Our oldest daughter moved to Maine in 2021. Her husband is from there and his family of course. They used to live in the 9th ward in New Orleans. My grandson will 3 in February. They moved up there for their son. I can't afford to be up there this year. I put us in debt with credit cards. I'm not

Catastrophizing Issues
On Wednesday my doctor changed my medication again to step down to 50 mg of sertraline from 100 and added 150 mg bupropion. I also had a surprise set of blood tests done and everything looked great... except my liver enzymes. Two of them were high and one was low and all were out of range. I don't drink
