Eugenol

I just happened to come across some information relating to cirrhosis. It is called eugenol and it comes from cloves. The NIH as recently as 2021 has done studies and as far as I can tell it is helping the liver to heal. I am not a scientist so the big scientific words are beyond me so I am not sure why this eugenol is not being brought into the light for us. Maybe it has to do with the big words? Has anyone heard of this or even taking it?

As far as I was Aware , this is a clove oil ,that if taken in High doses causes direct cytotoxin, in other words not good for the liver at all .I haven't seen anything as yet stating it can help heal a liver ?

Maybe I'm wrong, I'm only going by what I know myself.

Eugenol is considered safe as a food additive, but due to the wide range of different applications and also the extensive use and availability of clove oil; there is a great concern about its toxicity in recent years.

That was quote I found on the internet, maybe it can become toxic is why it’s not recommended, maybe?
