Active B12 test-is it worth paying privately for?
Hiya, I wondered if anybody had paid privately for an active B12 test after a serum B12 fell within normal range-420. I will try to cut a long story short; April 2017- B12 serum 166 - told I was a little bit on the low side (had asked for hormone test due to sudden appearance of acne in late twenties

Low ferritin and tsh of 3 [0.5 - 4.4] on 37.5 mcg levothyroxine
Hi everyone, I'm feeling fairly desperate! Can anyone please help? Just been to see my GP. He says my ferritin of 33 is fine, that no-one has a ferritin level of 70. When I protested he said to take a multivitamin with iron in it. I've been a vegetarian for over forty years which may have something to

The murky waters of thiamine.
I see there is growing interest on high dose thiamine on this forum. Sadly, the topic is being driven with lots of information that is either old or from a single source. I want to offer some additional information that people can use to make their own decisions, and I will update the studies I find

low b12/folate- liquid
Hi guys... Brand new here. 23 female. After years of research and trying so many vitamins and seeing so many doctors I think I've finally narrowed down my lifelong symptoms to a possible B12/Folate deficiency. A few years ago my doctor told me I was "a little low" in B12 and D (despite the fact that

Do supplements and alternative medicines help even a bit in controlling hyper impulsive behavior and better focus..any experiences?
Hi friends, I have a 11 year old who is diagnosed with ADHD. Can anyone share your experiences with giving supplements to your kids? Did it work? I have been giving multivitamin and fish oil and yet to see any prominent change. Thinking about Gaba supplements.

Dose advice please?
My recent blood test: TSH 0.04 T4 12.8 T3: 3.7 Vitamin D: 66 I am currently on 150mcg of Thyroxine and 20mcg of T3 (divided into twice a day) and take everyday
multivitamins
. I have forgotten to take my thyroxine a few times but I donāt believe itās been that many times to make a huge difference.

Change in test results - advice needed
I was diagnosed Hypo over a year ago after years of symptoms and no help. I have been taking ERFA slowly increasing the dosage to 125mg, T3 25 mcg was added at my last visit. I also take DHEA, D3, B12 and a multivitamin daily. Since the diagnosis my puffiness has been greatly reduced and fatigue/brain

Do I have endo?
I also started taking
multivitamins
ā no difference. This has been really frustrating because I can't figure out how to "fix" it. I don't want to come off my BC (which is a financial strain) because maybe if I stay on it long enough, it'll start working (wishful thinking?).

Hi please help! Appt with GP today
Bear in mind I was taking folic acid supplements daily and on/off
multivitamins
with iron supplementation. So my other MCv and MCH were ok and iron. Main concern: However the MCHC result was quite high (372) and GP said all was fine. Does this point to B12 Deficiency? Or PA?
