Hi, I've recently purchased some natural supplements to start taking in the new year to balance out my hormones and to improve PCOS and fertility. I suffer with irregular periods, I'm not currently trying to conceive but I will want to be one day. I'm going to be taking a multivitamin, B12, turmeric

I also started taking multivitamins— no difference. This has been really frustrating because I can't figure out how to "fix" it. I don't want to come off my BC (which is a financial strain) because maybe if I stay on it long enough, it'll start working (wishful thinking?).

Bear in mind I was taking folic acid supplements daily and on/off multivitamins with iron supplementation. So my other MCv and MCH were ok and iron. Main concern: However the MCHC result was quite high (372) and GP said all was fine. Does this point to B12 Deficiency? Or PA?

A very happy Christmas to everyone here! Given most shops sell supplements if 2 months supply, it does not take long to run out and have the chance to try other options. I have changed approach a lot this time with the desire to consolidate as far as possible and make life simple. I found a supplier

She gave multivitamins only but the pain kept bothering me still. I can't sleep well. Pain is worse when I like down in whatever positions thanx

Apologies for the ramble - I am just stumped and not sure what to do while I wait for GP to see me (is it safe to at least start on multivitamins and iron supplements?)

It is commonly found in multivitamins. The nontoxic form of vitamin B6, P5P, is readily available as a supplement.

I am not sure if I need more B 12, folate and ferrtin etc. that there is in the multivitamins, or how much vitamin K is needed.

I haven't had any green or spearmint tea in a long time nor have I been taking my multivitamins, omega 3 or B12 supplements. However, I don't feel I was ever taking them regularly or long enough to notice any improvements to begin with.

Do you need to take a b-complex when taking 100mcg b12 and a multivitamin which contain 100%of b-vits?

I take multivitamins daily, so would taking iron help with my fatigue. I used to be an extremely high energy person, but I now feel like Pacman after the ghosts have gotten him!

I also had my Thyroid checked on this occasion and came with the following levels: Serum TSH - 2 mu/L (0.3 - 6) Serum free T4 - 21.6 pmol/L (10.0 - 22.0) I currently only take multivitamins, cod liver oil, creatine and l-tyrosine Is it something I should follow up? Thanks in advance

Most calcium supplements do include vitamin D but multivitamins contain very little. You might ask your doctor to test your vitamin D level before you decide how much to take. Can I take too much Vitamin D?

I had been taking multivitamins and my wbc was slightly increased when last checked so I've stopped, but it could have been a natural fluctuation? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you. TreTops (UK)

I now take iron multivitamins during my period but it's done nothing unfortunately. I'm still young and haven't been sexual in any way, but tampons cause me cramps and are genuinely uncomfortable to wear.
