Illness and taking T3 - something to consider?
just a thought I wanted to put out there and see what everyone else thinks… I am now prescribed T4 and T3 and it has been a bit of a life changer for me. Previous to the T3 being added, I was on mono T4 for years. To get out of bed and function, I had to have my T4 over range, whilst my T3 was scrapping

Free Covid Rapid Lateral Flow Test
Does anyone know how to obtain Covid Rapid Lateral Flow Tests free-of-charge in the U.K.? The Gov U.K. site says they are not available direct but are available via your local Pharmacy. None of my local pharmacy stores issue these tests free-of-charge under the NHS but are happy to charge £13 each, even

Another cold type virus
Posted in January about respiratory virus which I recovered from about 2 weeks ago. Blow me down, I have a sore throat, runny nose, feel flat and no energy again. This is the 3rd cold/flu type bug I have had in 3 months. Is this due to suppressed immune system or overdoing it or just bad luck? @

PAF well controlled till I got covid
hi, I’m new to this forum and hope you can give me some hope. I’ve had PAF for 13 years, well controlled on propranolol 80mg slow release - other beta blockers seem to affect my chest/throat and give me dreadful indigestion and can’t tolerate the newer ones. However in November whilst on holiday in

recurrent oral thrush
Hi all, I’m looking for some advice around inhaled steroids and constant oral thrush. I was moved to flixotide 125 last year after my asthma worsened. I take 1 puff morning and night. Since summer last year I have had oral thrush on and off constantly. I never had this on my previous inhaler which

I could have PMR…
I posted back in September for some invaluable advice from you lovely people. I suspected I might have PMR but after being in hospital and treated for ‘infection’ which is what the doctors said I had I thought no more about it. I had high inflammation markers which were thought to be due to infection

Travel vaccinations
I’m travelling to Bali in April and been recommended to have Typhoid, Tetanus and Hepatitis A boosters. Has anyone experienced any issues following these vaccinations please? Currently on 0.5mg Pred and no intention of reducing further until after the holiday!

On Venetoclax, lymph node appeared
Trying not to worry but a lymph node in my armpit swelled up. I feel fine, no colds, fevers or recent vaccinations. Even did a Covid test because I have had Covid totally asymptomatic but negative. Has anyone have this happen and it turned out to be nothing. Hoping this is just a fluke but it seems

Covid 19 vaccine UK
Hi there, I’d welcome any information you have on eligibility for Covid 19 vaccination in the U.K. I’ve looked at the .gov.uk website and in one place it includes epilepsy under neurological conditions, in another place it doesn’t. I did have an in invitation from my GP for flu, but not for Covid.

The Plot Thickens…
I posted a few days ago about shoulder pain. It has got worse and is in both shoulders and is affecting my neck. It is far worse in the morning. My Osteopath gave me a private doctor’s contact details so I could see them for a cortisone injection. I had the appointment this morning and it turned out
