Does anyone know if partners / carers of clinically extremely vulnerable people are eligible for the Covid boosters in April. I am under 75 years of age.
I am “happy” to have it done privately at a cost of £100 approx but would need to travel some distance at the moment.
Thanks for any advice

Who is being offered a spring vaccine?
COVID-19 is more serious in older people and in people with certain underlying health conditions.
For these reasons, people aged 75 years and over, those in care homes, and those aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system are being offered a spring dose of COVID-19 vaccine
It is my understanding that our partners / carers have only been offered the autumn booster for the last two years at the same time as the flu jab in an effort to protect the clinically vulnerable. I am still invited for both a spring and autumn booster each year. And have received my invite for two weeks time . I am clinically vulnerable and under 60. We live in Scotland so I cannot comment on the rest of the UK. If your partner is normally well it should be sufficient for a once a year booster to keep them topped up and in doing so protect yourself. Hope this helps .
