chronic cough / seretide
Hi all. I’ve looked through posts about coughs and Seretide on this forum. Seems there are quite a few who have had similar experiences with this inhaler as i’m having now. I’ve had very loud coughs all my life. Now with allergy season starting, a nasty cough has come come back that I can’t shake

Finally some progress
Those who followed our Journey, know this is such a painful process of grief. Two weeks ago, the hospital wrote it would not change the factual information in my wife's chart. In her chart it had been written she had Biopys proven Nash Cirrhosis, which led doctors looking at ultrasounds that said

Cold & sore throat PAF
hi, I’ve had a cold and cough for 7 days now and having been having AF episodes lasting from 30mins - 5hours almost daily. Normally I would get an episode once a month at worst. Can colds and coughs bring on more regular occurances of AF?

MODERNA SPIKEVAX (2022) COVID Vaccine Availability Autumn 2023 Uk
Hi all, As anyone had a Moderna COVID vaccine (2022 version Bivalent Spikevax) this autumn in the UK, I have a clinical need to avoid Pfizer and that is all that is being sent out at present. I have been in touch with UKHSA, NHS England, local Vaccine authority, Haematologist and GP without any joy.

covid vaccine
My Hematologist suggested I not take the flu or covid vaccine. She is concerned it will trigger another episode of low platelets. I had been in remission for 15 months last year and I thought I had beaten ITP. I got the vaccines last year then about 2 months later my platelets were back down to 1.

Not what I expected!
After feeling unwell, I’ve had a lousy night, tested in the early hours and have Covid! Had the booster 12 days ago and the flu jab on Saturday. it’s Sod’s Law , I was going to say a flare and low adrenal function feels like Covid with Mumps . Hopefully i can get antivirals , they wouldn’t give them

Flu won’t go away.
I was diagnosed four years ago with emphysema. I have had no symptoms. Six weeks ago I got the flu. It’s been a rough six weeks. Getting my breath back and my energy back. Now every morning I can’t breathe and have to use an inhaler. Never had to before. I’ve had a CAT scan of my lungs, and it has not

Another day another other saga!!You couldn’t make it up!
Thanks everyone for your advice yesterday. It’s been a learning curve & I will be able to navigate better next time. I went to A & E first thing & in triage the nurse said it’s sounds like you have flu. So she did a nasal swab. She asked me to wear a mask & I said oh I’ve done a Covid test. She said

This is my 4th week in hospital. I’ve had 3 chest x-rays, ct scans and mris of all the bony bits of my body to try and find the source of infection that was showing with spikes in temperature, they told me I’ve got pneumonia!

Feeling Cold
Does anyone feel really cold with AF? My partner says he feels cold all the time when he always used to be rather than me.

egg collection and bad cold/flu
Once again I’m a cheap date and after only one week of stims I’ve triggered last night for egg collection tomorrow morning (Thursday) everything looks about the same as last few times about 7-8 follicles ready (between 17-22mm) and some others not far behind. I am really worried though as I had a bit

I'd just like to know
Hi, I had a terrible cough over Christmas, gradually got better over the next two weeks but still had some rib pain mid Jan so saw my GP. I'd stopped smoking because of the cough but had smoked most of my adult life. (still stopped, will never again) I had no cancer symptoms except the rib pain but
