Removing implants!
I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has removed their implants or did not do reconstruction after mastectomy. I am considering removing my textured implant due to the talk of a new possible lymphoma derived from it. I only had one side done and I do not want to replace with another implant. How

Breast implant associated small cell lymphoma!
I am wondering if anyone is confronted with this. I had a saline implant post mastectomy in 2012. I received a letter from my plastic surgeon stating that the FDA has put out new data stating that the texture of the implant, saline and silicone can lead to this new cancer which is not related to breast

Panic Day
I've always been afraid to be like an abusive ex I had. And of course, in trying to be the opposite I've found myself feeling so similar. My current partner who I've been with for a few years recently had a talk with me about how she can't be my caretaker, about how I need to grow up, about how I need

Breast Implants possibly the cause of my Connective Tissue Disease!
Hi all, I need to first thank Eekt (thank you! thank you!), who brought this to my attention by posting an article on this site about 4 months ago regarding the links between breast implants and autoimmune diseases. Since that time, there has been a flood of new information, not least of which is an

AUA 2019: Low Free Testosterone {FT} is an Independent Risk Factor for High Grade Prostate Cancer
"men with low FT generally had aggressive, high grade cancers. Additionally, higher FT was protective of negative oncologic outcomes, which Towe mentions was first presented by Dr. Morgentaler in the 1990s." -Patrick https://www.urotoday.com/conference-highlights/aua-2019-annual-meeting/aua-2019-prostate-cancer

Long-term Survivors, localised treatment & QoL.
New German study. I expect that not many of us who started out with localized PCa were worrying about quality of life [QoL] ten or more years out. I know that I was more concerned about the immediate five years. "Several therapies for localised prostate cancer (PC) are available; all yield similar survival

Hello Having got lots of useful information from my post 2 weeks ago, just a few more questions. I am assuming that my calcium will come from eating a calcium rich diet plus the daily Adcal-D3 tablet? I shall then take VitK2 to help absorption plus VitD3. Should I try to get appointment with new
