I've been following the posts and find them all helpful and inspirational. This is the first time I've posted. I had stage 1 breast cancer in 2016. A lumpectomy and 21 rounds of radiation (so it wouldn't come back). I was done, put it behind me and moved on. In March, while bathing, I noticed several lumps in a cluster along the scar line. Startled, I made and appointment. Biopsy done. In a week, I went back and expected her to say "it's odd, but don't worry about it, we'll keep an eye on it". I was shocked to learn it was MBC. Had mastectomy and now on Ibrance and Arimedex. I asked how long I'd be on this and was told probably the rest of my life. Yuk. Hate meds. Tolerating it pretty well. Haven't heard anyone with skin mets. Can anyone add anything?

Sorry you have this hellish disease but glad you found this group of wonderful women. I am relatively new here myself and it's great to have a place to share, vent, support and be supported. No judgement here! I'm taking letrozole and ginger is my new thing. I posted about the ginger earlier, I am still excited because my hot flashes are GONE! had them from around 45 to 55 and that was ENOUGH! I am 65. God bless you and please heal us all in Jesus name, amen!

Thank you for your encouragement. I, also, have heard good things about ginger and have added it to my supplement list.

You're welcome. I heard about ginger from a lady on here; took tumeric for a little while before all of this even happened but it upset my stomach and didn't do anything for my achy bones. Have a blessed evening!

I just found out I have MBC. too. and infl breast cancer. It is infl. Breast cancer too.. thinking of you.
