IVF/ICSI Abroad??

We are unable to have IVF/ICSI on the NHS as my husband has had failed vasectomy reversal. Private treatment here in the UK seems unattainable for us due to cost.

Has anyone had IVF/ICSI abroad? I've been looking at Poland, Czech Republic and Madrid.

I was just looking for anyone who has had fertility treatment abroad & what your experience was like? Was it actually cheaper? Any clinic recommendations?

I did my two cycles in Greece (my partner is Greek). I saved something but it is not massively cheaper (and we didn't pay accommodation!). Standard of care was pretty high, PM me for more details 😉

I just had a transfer with Reprofit in Czech republic. Definitely cheaper and great service. X

Hi thank you for your reply. I had been looking into this particular clinic. How have you found the communication with them? Do they have a clinic in the U.K. for scans etc before hand?

Communication has been fine. I don't have a clinic here.I used Ultrasound Direct for all the scans. I am based in London. I used Medichecks for bloods or the Birthcompany. It's very straightforward.

Ive been to Greece for treatment but my case is a little different to yours in the fact that we are using donor eggs so it is cheaper than the UK plus we get a holiday. However unsure what the costs would be versus cycling with OE between home and abroad. Good luck!xx
