Endometriosis, but progesterone intolerant. What to do?????

Hello, I'm in a lot of endo pain after two laps and more recently (one year ago) a baby boy. I've literary tried every synthetic progesterone under the sun from the mirena to combined and every progesterone only pill, patch, injection etc even the newer dienogest but I have horrendous insomnia with everything. Spent a fortune on private doctors but even natural progesterone cream has the same effect. What do other progesterone intolerant folk do? Put up with feeling like death for the rest of your life because it's that or horrendous endo pain? There must be another way I can't live like this. Any advice appreciated xx

Hi hun

Sorry for this synthetic doesn't agree with me either. Have you tried looking into Maca powder and coconut oil after ages of been on pill and horrendous side affects plus trying to conceive iv looked into balancing hormones naturally and I can tell you I noticed the difference in a couple of months. Look in too maca root powder get an organic one as well as organic coconut oil. I take them both in morning Evey day with my smoothie just easiest way to consume them I also cook with coconut oil. Stay away from caffeine and dairy. It really has helped I'm much more happier and my skin has cleared up loads.

Really hope this helps.

Xx

It doesn't have hormones in it its an adaptogen that helps the endocrine system produce hormones in balance helps the body to recognize what's out of, balance and amazingly sorts it out for the way it should be at the time it should be. Research it is an amazing food. Packed with vitamins and amino acids everything that's good for us. I'm so glad iv found it that serrapeptase and coconut oil have changed my life. I don't take pain killers anymore xx

The research on this says: 'Extracts from maca might act like estrogen. If you have any condition that might be made worse by exposure to estrogen, do not use these extracts.' Surely we shouldn't take anything that acts like estrogen?

Ok just read further around this. Apparently it's ok as long as you are not taking it with anything else, such as progesterone cream. Sounds very interesting thank you

I do know it's helped me loads with the hormones and you might feel a bit of a knock on affect at first but you should start of little. I'll private message you now with the one I take. X
