Post lap question....
I had my copper coil swapped for a
mirena
and have ovulated since which just resulted in normal period cramps (guessing it was ovulation as it was 9 days before next period due which is the day it happens every month but usually in excruciating pain and a horrible pressure feeling) so I’m feeling happy

Burning
Hi all, I was diagnosed in April 2016 and had the
mirena
coil fitted in June 2017. I’ve always had pain on my left side but this has recently turned into a burning sensation or feels like a tightness. I was wondering whether anyone else had experienced this or anything similar?

A concerned boyfriend feeling a little helpless...
But I actually wanted to ask a few questions today, mainly (and hopefully) to hear some positive feedback regarding the
Mirena
Coil.

Mirena coil or pill
I am reluctant about the pill as it has many strong side effects on me but was more inclined to get the
Mirena
coil. Anyone out there using it as step in endo diagnosis/treatment? What are your experiences and does it reduce any pains?

Exhausted and feeling rubbish.
I'm on the
mirena
coil which I've had for nearly 6 months - before that i had the implant but didn't get on with it - whilst it helped a lot with pain I was constantly bleeding and had very low mood.

Advice before endo appointment please
I even had my
mirena
coil changed incase it was that! They have tested pth, calcium, ca125, h.pylori and along with the hundreds of other blood tests I’ve had done I had a few 9am cortisols taken which have never gone above 350, the lowest was just under 200.

I finally had my
mirena
coil fitted at the end of October for heavy bleeding (caused by the warfarin) which not only restricted what I did was also causing me to be iron deficient (two iron transfusions this year) .

I'm new here, just want to know others experience of being menopausal and having a under active thyroid
A month ago I had a regular blood test and was told that I was being slightly over medicated (but they are keeping me on it) but was menopausal and given 75 Everol patches and had a
mirena
coil fitted. Since the miscarriage I have put nearly over a stone and a half on.

Simple hyperplasia with atypia and IVF
I have also been reading about women that need to have a
mirena
coil put in for 6 months and then regular hysteroscopies to make sure the hyperplasia has not returned. Any info regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks for reading! x

Awaiting docs appointment
I'm on my 2nd
mirena
coil as I've always suffered with heavy periods, cramps etc. I had the 2nd fitted last September but after a couple of months all these little things started happening and they've just continued growing.

Waiting for diagnosis of Endo
My operation is scheduled for the 26th April 2018 (laparoscopy +/- ureterolysis, cystoscopy and fitting a
mirena
coil). I'm on reduced hours at work taking Naproxen and codeine everyday but it's a constant struggle.

How long is recovery post diagnostic laproscopy/diathermy/mirena insertion?!
Visible endo was treated with diathermy from a variety of places (pelvic walls, ligaments, pouch of douglas etc) and the
mirena
coil was fitted surgically at the same time. I was told to visit GP in 4-6 weeks post op for review and
mirena
coil check.

Help and advice please
I have had the
mirena
a coil fitted during my last op, and was told to wait 12 months before contacting the gyny again. 8 months in and I have booked an appointment for Monday. I am so fed up of the physical symptoms, and the way my moods are so up and down.

Anyone experienced this with excision and endo!❤️❤️❤️
The
mirena
coil was fitted to help endo and as said above stretched bladder to try and help that. After this I felt like I was doing ok. Up and down but I expected that. However, 9 weeks in And i am pretty much immobile. I’ve been in hospital and referred to by my gp.

2nd lap over and done with - pelvis and bowel endo
During the procedure I also had the
Mirena
coil fitted, as it's the last form of hormonal medication I haven't tried without being really sick on it, so I'm just praying it works and gives me some relief. The worst symptom I've had since (apart from the awful shoulder/gas pain) is heartburn.

GP refused to remove Mirena
I have had my
Mirena
since January 2016 and I now want it removed. I thought it would be simple, thought I would go along to my GP and she would whip it out.
