Exhausted and feeling rubbish.

I got diagnosed with likely endometriosis around 4 years ago (after 7 years of symptoms) and had my laparoscopy 18 months ago confirming it. Before my lap it was pretty bad, some days I couldn't walk, and I'd get so so tired in the days afterwards. Since my laparoscopy generally I've been a lot better but recently it's started to show up again. The pain isn't awful, but I'm getting massive temperature changes, pain when I go to the toilet again and what I'd call normal period pain levels but then a few days later feeling like my whole body is a dead weight and just absolutely exhausted. Ive taken a day off work today because I'm just feeling so tired but my pain isn't awful today. My head keeps battling with itself, part of me thinks I'm being pathetic and needs to just get on with it and feeling guilty. And the other part is saying it's because I have a health condition and I need to make sure I'm looking after myself. I'm on the mirena coil which I've had for nearly 6 months - before that i had the implant but didn't get on with it - whilst it helped a lot with pain I was constantly bleeding and had very low mood. Does anyone else get absolutely exhausted, even if the pain is not awful or the tiredness comes a few days after a period/the pain?

One of the biggest bug bears is the total exhaustion endo causes me so I totally understand. I'm lucky if I get 1 week out of every 4 where I feel relatively normal!! Like you I feel guilty then that leads to frustration because everything is hard work. Simple things like taking a shower is exhausting. So yeah I know it's hard not to but give yourself a break, you're doing your best.
